if you really think about it, the part in the video when the people were smashing their phones wasn't pointless, because the song title is "if you talk too much (my head will explode)", and phones have to do with talking, and some people talk way too much on their phones, so, maybe that's what it means, i'm not really sure, i'm just guessing.
