It's funny how many people have already determined that this was a terrorist act based of few facts and many assumptions. The FBI has determined that the shooter acted alone, without any outside help or direction. He was a mentally ill, loner who lost it.. Nothing new.

I am no big Obama supporter. However, it is shameful that some conservatives woud distort the facts in order to hang the word "terrorism attack" on Obama. The shooting was not his fault (period)

In other countries, psych therapists get doing this work get regular psych sessions themselves, so they can unload all those traumatic emotions they have taken on board.

I was just talking to a high ranking military person today and he said that they (military) were very upset that the Commander-In-Chief never bothered to visit Fort Hood after the massacre. He said we are here protecting the country and he could care less and has not shown any respect for the dead and wounded. That high ranking black official said Obama is not a commander or leader. He looked so upset and he said he was worried about what is happening to our country.

There are soldiers carrying weapons around on every army base. If rogue soldiers start shooting, and other soldiers start shooting back, they get mistaken for rebels too, and get shot at as well, escalating the confusion and casualties.

Every army has MPs, Military Police, but military bases usually have MPs and civilian police working side by side in overlapping roles.
