If Zune had more apps like the iPod did, then there would practically be no competition. People even admit that the Zune is superior to the iPod, but it's the apps that keep them with it.
I'm pretty sure I'm buying the Zune 32 gb next week. Definitely not supporting the iTouch (SCREW YOU APPLE) but I must admit the iTouch is pretty cool. BUT OMG YOU COULD HAVE THE LYRICS DISPLAYED ON THE iTOUCH!!!! *dies* T^T I love that feature!!!

And does it display the artist info/bio/songs/pics/etc if you use other Music downloading sites such as Rhapsody and Limewire Pro? I'm not going to pay a subscription fee if I can't use it for the Zune.
@DenmiSama You get all of the bio and stuff for free all u have to do is update ur song by right clicking on the album and choosing find album info and it should update and u dont have to use the subscription service if you dont wish. glad to know u r supporting Microsoft
@RandomisterNate Oh cool okay I'll have to do that one day. And yeah I'm just Anti-Apple. :) And the Zune was the next best thing. But honestly I miss my Creative Zen. Well actually I miss my Dell DJ - it was so simple and easy to use. But Dell discontinued it + they made the stupid DJ Shuffle. :x
Excellent comparison. I think I'm still going with an ipod touch. Zune is certainly superior from a strictly media standpoint: better battery life for videos and music, and I think it has higher res when connecting it to a TV. Stuff like that. But the apps have me sold on the touch. I need something more versatile in function because I hate carrying things around. I know Zune is getting them slowly, but I'm going to college in a month.

The iPod touch may have more, but over 75% aren't free and there are only a few good ones. The Zune is by far a better product for it is cheaper than the iPod Touch 8 GB at a price of 198 when the Zune HD 16 GB is priced at 178. It is up to you on what you want, but keep in mind the all the apps for the zune are adicting, free, and great quality,

So i know when the zune hd came out it didnt have much for apps, thats the main reason i was thinking of getting a touch. How is the zune now as far as apps and games go, is there still very little or is it catching up to the ipods apps. Also i like the built in speak the touch has since i dont like using headphones all the time.
@tmorales509 The Zune HD has so much more to offer than the iTouch. Apps are comming along, slowly, but they are all high quality and a friend of mine who wanted to buy the iTouch took a look at my Zune and now wants it. Not as many apps, but the ones it does have are quite addicting and had a lot of effort put into them. Look at the list in the description for Zune and iPod pros and cons.
i would get the zune hd but im waiting to see if microsoft will make another with speakers and different features, but for there first touch screen they did good
Zune as a media player wins by a long shot. The ipod has better internet and currently more as well as better apps. Zune's screen is also much clearer and more vivid.
I never planned on using the internet on my new Zune HD other than to occasionally check my email anyway and the few games the zune has are entertaining enough, if I want any more games I can just grab my gameboy

@RandomisterNate I've had a zune since I pre ordered the original brick which I still use. I like the internet on the zune HD, just watching it in comparison to the internet speed on the itouch its not quite as fast but for me and many people its more than good enough

@EpiclessTV the zune is ready to use when it's done turning on. It only goes on wi-fi when you need it so that it doesn't kill the battery.
