Well, both The Gong Show & The Joker's Wild are now owned by Sony. So it's pretty much appropriate.

But neither were under common ownership at the time. Barris' company still owned Gong, the Barry estate still owned TJW, with B&E Productions still owning the episodes.

Gotta give Don credit, though. He was better than George Gray was on Extreme Gong (although Gray did improve on Weakest Link).
