  • the 4oth anviversery cd is well good!!

  • Love this song and the video clip is so cute. Billy looks wonderful here and is fine voice. So pleased we have some film of him performing he was so very special. RIP BILLY. LOVE YOU ALWAYS.

  • @billyfuryfan64 Well, if you had to worship someone from back then you sure picked a class act.

  • This is such a cute song and Billy sings it so well. I have the movie and it's alot of fun to watch. I grew up in England so I am familiar with Billy but as I was too young to remember this film the first time round. I am so pleased to be able to get the DVD of it now. The DVD called Billy Fury His wondrous Story is a great tribute to the man and is available through Amazon. Billy was also a good songwriter and he started his career as a rock n roller very similar to Elvis. RIP Billy.

  • When I try to download this song I miss the last 20 seconds, so my downloads ends that time to early, The Oldiefreak

  • Good sound and cardigan nice

  • He was 100% a ladies man .... I knew Billy very well so take my word for it. This clip from I've Gotta Horse takes me back to Gt Yarmouth and all the fun I had there .... x

  • @MagsFury oh yes..tell me more

  • Whether Billy Fury was Scottish or Bi-Sexual I think makes no difference. His music is great and was loved by many.

  • so good

  • fantastic

  • fun video thank you

  • wow!!! never heard this before think this is brilliant

  • !!WOW!! xxx

  • Would you believe I never heard of Billy Fury until a couple months ago here on YouTube. I grew up in the 60's listening to music all the time. I don't think Billy, or Cliff, or others from the UK got much airplay here in the States. Of course The Beatles, and many groups did, but for some reason the solo artists didn't. Well, I'm listening to them now. Much better than the rap crap rubbish.

  • @dahur ~ I'm with you 100%! I had never heard of Billy Fury before YouTube. The songs he sang in the special 4 days before he died, are so heart-grabbing, I can't stop watching them. His heart was so bad by then. I dislike that rap rubbish, too. I think I heard "When Will You Say I Love You" in the States . . . he was a real legend, & I am now his biggest new fan. I'm collecting as much of his things as I can get. Rest in peace, Billy, until we can hear you in heaven. ~Diana Lynn~

  • @dialynn44

    Diana,

Too many of these talented young artists were taken from us before their time. Thanks to YouTube, we can relive what we missed out on back then.

Billy, Buddy, Ritchie, and others R.I.P.

  • @dahur ~ I thank YouTube for bringing us the stars that passed on at such young ages. I think Billy Fury was one of the greatest, along with the others you mentioned. I hope we can hear them when we get to heaven! Can you imagine spending all eternity with their "heavenly" music? God Bless~ ~Diana Lynn~

  • love it

  • all his songs sound the same....monotone....and no explosive voice power!...ive heard better drunks at karaoke night!!!

  • @dubberdoodee U OBVIOUSLY TONE DEAF...BEST SINGER OF THE 50S AND EARLY 60S...CHECK OUT OTHER TUNES...OR GO DOWN THE PUB..

  • @dubberdoodee Well piss off down the pub then!!

  • @dubberdoodee lets listen to you then you fucking moron....

  • @hodmeist

What a shit head you are, you are the moron, get lost and stay that way

  • @imabadun If Fury is so bad - why are you even watching this clip you stupid cunt

  • was this made for a film?

  • @7579johns1 Yes."I`ve Got a Horse" 1966 film. Co Starred,Amanda Barrie star of "Carry On Cleo" and Coronation treet.

  • One of the uk's best rock''n'rollers we have produced and a fabulous ballardeer also for me he is miles in front of cliff, marty, and shane fentone and left this mortal coil to soon r.i.p billy

  • i love this music!!! to hell with the music out today! oldies forever! & i'm only 14 hehe

  • Great Rock 'N' Roll song - Billy wrote the whole of his debut album and was probably the best English rocker of the late 'fifties and early 'sixties, trailed only slightly behind by Cliff, Shane Fenton, Marty Wilde and Johnny Kidd.

    Congratulations, Pope Eugene I

  • Absolutely brilliant,Billy was the true king of rock'n'roll, rest in peace Billy, you will always be in our hearts.

  • if you say that song is rock 'n' roll i will be changed in Pope.

  • @eugenecraddock HE WAS DOIN WHAT HE WAS TOLD..ELVIS BEEN THERE

  • @john111257 Billy Fury is the undisputed british king of rock'n'roll, most artistes of the 50's and 60's were told to be like Elviis,Billy went with the times, one thing he didn't do was turn country or gospel, kids are listening to this man today, ain't that something?

  • @john111257 And another thing,Billy wrote the majority of his songs which is more than i can say for others, everyone's entitled to their opinion, looks like you're going to Italy.Regards

  • @kenharrisondodd HEY IM A BIG FAN OF BILLYS...I KNOW HE WAS GREAT WRITER TOO...JUST THINK IN IVE GOTTA HORSE HE WASNT BEING HIMSELF...PLAY IT COOL AND THATLL BE THE DAY WERE BRILLIANT..I WOULD NEVER PUT BILLY DOWN...HE IS STILL MY NUMBER 1

  • @john111257 Apologies John, that reply wasn't meant for you,i'm still getting use to using this feature,it was meant for eugenecraddock, obviously a Gene Vincent fan, nothing wrong with that i think Gene Vincent was awesome too,i have a tattoo in memory of Gene on my arm.

  • @john111257 Any idea where i can get this film from?

  • @eugenecraddock Just look at the comments man, looks like your going to Italy.Cheers

  • Billy Fury was great and this video is a brilliant tribute to him

  • Love this song AND video! Thank you for posting it!

  • playing this tonight

  • smashing

  • goguś

  • Would that be 'intelligence' by any chance. Something you show a paucity of.

I doubt there is any ''quote'', just some mindless twaddle you thought of whilst in a drunken stupor.

  • Anyway, i have looked at your Twitter page. I don't understand why a 'hoodie ' such as you with your Eminem Home Boys (pmsl) would be interested in an old 'rocker' Especially as you are claiming to be 41.

Anyway Homie (ha ha ha) i think you are requested to serve lunch. Hop to it waiter, Fabian (he he he).

  • Of course you ''never knew that.'' You are too mentally incontinent to absorb and assimilate.

Being facetious in some soi-disant attempt at wit is equivalent to buggering dead Romans. Mr Wilde incidentally is another laughable parody of British rock and roll. Pathetic.

  • Out of curiosity what kind of planet are you on, or sorry are you tripping. Marty & Billy were brilliant in their day, sounds like you get out the wrong side of the bed every morning, or that you just like attention, keep it up, and i'll right a book & send it some of my US, Buddies, Jerk

  • And you are the 'brains of the outfit.'' Well Mr. desperadox when i want the advice of an idiot, you will be the first to know.

  • If you meant write a book, fine, otherwise i suggest you take a night class in English Language.

  • Hi, Just speaking in plain simple English, as for using long words, it takes a lot of inteliignce, quote not to use them.

  • The enigmatic inference couched in the phrase ''& send it some of my US,Buddies, Jerk '' is potentially oblique. Try to be more erudite otherwise no one will understand your rambling drivel.

  • lovely song

  • Great singer....with a great look and style. Amanda Barrie is in this film, she and Billy dated for a while.

  • not really a rock star.

  • Billy was better known as a ballad singer with a big/dramatic sound. But he could still cut it when he turned to Rock "N" Roll.

He probably picked up a few tips touring with Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran in 1960. I saw GV in 1969 at the London Palladium, he was backed by the Wild Angels.

  • i've the recording of the 1969 show with the wild angels, included the delaney and bonnie title Hang up yourselves together.

  • From memory Gene opened with "Say Mama" then Pistol Packin` Mama, Good Golly Miss Molly he closed with Be Bop A Lula. Not a long set. Also on the Palladium Bill were the Nashville Teens. The Teds gave them the "bird", but they got out in one piece! Happy Days.

  • What was he then?

  • He was Scottish and Bi-Sexual.

His curious singing style and stance is the result of rheumatic fever suffered as a young boy.

  • You fucking moron.

    He was from Liverpool.

  • Really Mr. Hodmeist, your foul language is most inappropriate. Sending mail espousing vitriol in the form of ''imbecile'' and ''ignorant twat'' is the ramblings of a closet fag-boy.

You love Mr. Fury, many do. But your obsessive altruism only serves to cloud your judgment. Mr. Fury was of Scottish stock. He had sex with both men and women. Cliff Richard being one of his lovers. They were known in the music industry as 'Sandra' and 'Sally'.

  • I never knew that!

And I suppose Marty Wilde was part of the gang and he was known as "Sarah".

You are one ignorant Yank muppet.

  • the beatles loved billy fury and roy orberson..!

  • Orbison not Orberson

  • thanks for correcting me...!
