First of all hunting is completely OK if you are an ethical and responsible hunter. You must have respect for the animal you are pursuing and kill it humanely and quickly. I only hunt animals that I will use the whole animal. Turkey, deer, quail, pheasant, wild boar, squirrel, and rabbit. Make sure you are taking good shots, use the appropriate caliber, and utilize the whole animal. I would have used at least a 30-06 on that bear. I would prefer a 45-70 if I was a bear hunter. Nice bear kid!

this modern hunt is an immoral, selfish, barbaric, unnecessary, cruel act disguise under the veil of tradition. It's all about context. Hunter gatherers of the past had to hunt out of necessity for survival. Not this kid. This kid has plenty of proteins available at the grocery store. Population control should be left to conservation agents. I find it very disturbing that a 10 years old is getting pleasure out of killing animals and getting access to high-tech weaponry.
