It was one of his finest hours. Gorby was afraid of Star Wars and wanted Reagan to give it up. President Reagan had the courage of his convictions (remember that term Mr. Obama?) and was such a secure person, he left without a concrete agreeement.
Like on many issues, Reagan trusted his own instincts; and ran the table on Gorby and won the Cold War a few years later. We won't see a man like that again! God blesshim!
