The principle is that by dwelling on the negative things, we bring about more negative...so think about good things and bring those about instead. Trust me on this...IT WORKS...BE WELL!

I'm a tad skeptical...all that vid did was make fortune cookie like generalizations about life. "I am amazing, I have purpose, I am great", that's all fine and dandy, but does it really change a person's outcome? It wasn't like it said "working hard can achieve great things" or "a great mind shapes a person's destiny", all it did was give the viewer a pat on the back regardless of whether or not they are deserving of it.
It was an ok vid, don't get me wrong, but I feel it was missing something.
All it's saying is that you have to first love yourself and feel that you are worthy of all things and they will come to you.
There are many great people who believe in the Secret and that helped them become who they are. You have to believe in yourself and that you can achieve all things.

Its hard to do, becasue most were raised to think and feel other.... but by you remaining happy and sharing your love their presence will always remain within you! even when they physically are not.
You could say that anyone who believes in the secret follows a type of faith, that I think links back to the ancient idea of spirits of nature that make you feel bad or good.
Effectively this makes for many people a feeling of security that they may not find in Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddihism or any other major religions.
As such it becomes more a matter of what works for one person does not for another. So long as everyone finds commfort and happiness in what they believe then everyone should be able to except everyone elses' beliefs.

People are fundamentally a problem for the rest of the living things in the world. We are huge consumers and polluters, and we are changing the world so quickly that species which were ancient before there were mammals can't cope. It's nice to feel good, but it's also nice to have a dash of reality. When people set out to do a lot, they're wasting energy, creating pollution, etc. So many people think we have to do something to change the world. We really have to stop doing so much.

ya no, I never really got the secret, It was just a word to me that I couldn't understand. Maybe its because im only 13 an am not wise enough too. But all of a sudden I found that God trusts me to learn the secret, that the key to a life of happiness and beauty is yourself, now that God knows that I no that.. In responce to #3 --Show them the video of The Secret....and death will never be within them...just a redirect of energy.
Its hard to do, becasue most were raised to think and feel other.... but by you remaining happy and sharing your love their presence will always remain within you! even when they physically are not.

You have to remember Mekteb100 that in the modern world many people find it difficult to believe in God or Gods.
Of course the idea of helping others and feeling there gratitude can make people feel more confident themselves (I know I find that allot).
The problem is the modern world and way of life does not allow for this and so many people find themselves out for themselves.

You could say that anyone who believes in the secret follows a type of faith, that I think links back to the ancient idea of spirits of nature that make you feel bad or good.
Effectively this makes for many people a feeling of security that they may not find in Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddihism or any other major religions.
