  • Nice riding and video!

But,as a fellow rider i would recommend that you would have ENTIRELY way more fun at the track,HANDS DOWN!

And you can truly see what bikes can do...

Again, nice video and ride safe where ever it might be?

  • thanks

we do attend track days as well (both of us) and most on the video (random riders)

    cheers!

  • This sheaf of turns as this pilot can be passed in such rate faster on YBR-125... Also it is not necessary R1, after all the potential it a bike is not used absolutely.

  • i hate this r1 zx-10r 2009 is the best:x

  • holy shit them roads would be scary :)

  • Nice vid. Love the R1

  • nice vid

  • thanks mate! , ride safe

    Immigrant

  • its obvious why these 2 cant go faster. one mistake could be theyre last

  • actually myself (Immigrant) & Manfred we're just pretty much cruising

literally soft pace compare to other runs we had before

  • I wanna know from you if i can get the r1 as my first bike. ive never rode a bike in my life and im really attracted to the r1.

  • Myself i wouldn't ...

too much money, too much bike for a "first bike"

but each of us have different ways to learn.

get your license , rent a R1 and make your mind that way.

    good luck

  • Go for it! Just weld a roll cage to the frame and you're set.

  • thanks yasagureR

back on this video i was not 100% confident on the stock tires

now , with much better tires and more seat time on "her" the next videos for sure will be let's say: a lot faster = )

    thanks again

  • Looks like a fun road to ride BUT dangerous as hell ,,,

  • agreed

but the danger factor wont stop me to keep riding

Danger = " not to fear , to respect "

  • is the following rider on the r1, cause he is hammering the leader?

  • Good view, good corners, good job!

Let me ask you something: Considering overall rating, do you think 08 R1 can be side by side with the 09?

I mean: 09's power delivery must be unseen and really strong (in A mode). R1's always been confortable, stable and precise cornering. There's really a huge difference in acceleration between them both?

  • i have a 07 r1 which is same as the 08 r1 but i dont know how good the power delivery is because the bike has like 200 miles right now but for what my friend daniel (owner of the 09 r1 )tells me the bike has a lot power in low rpmsbut again we have to wait after he passes the 600 miles so he can start pushing the bike .

  • That thing looks likes it punches out of the corners so fast, and he's taking it easy, imagine your bike with more power lower down, exactly where the 07/08 is missing it, and you'd have the 09, i had the choice of waiting for the 09, or getting the last 08 my dealer had, i went on looks, did i choose wrong? i don't know..

  • I think 08 R1 already has a huge low - end power... It has more torque than Honda, Kawi. (kawi is all about high end power.) Don't know 'bout the new GSXR1000, seems to be good as well, but i prefer R1 for the security it gives you at every step of a corner - braking, entry, apex, exit. Its awesome. Hope i can find a cheaper insurance, so i can get my R1 :)

  • that's the only problem, i paid £1999 fully comp for the year, but it's worth it for how it looks and how it rides. All these 1000's are crazy machnes, they're far too powerful for the road, but that's what makes them so great, owning any of them is amazing, the differences between them must be very little.

  • Thats funny!! The R1 has huge low end power,LMAO.

    Obviously you dont know much.

  • you're right it does punches out of corners like no bike i have ever ridden have not yeat ridden hard my bike yet but i must say A Mode is scary fast i mean i open mouth open scary

the power delivery is 100% smooth i comes out of corners with a V-Twin punch

if you can wait save your money and buy the 09 R1 is by far the best bike i have ever ridden

    be safe

  • yeah i thought it would be good, to late for me, my 08 is only 2 months old now, if i get an 09 i'll have to wait a couple of years, i based my decision on looks, was happy to wait for the 09 but thought i'd go for the 08 instead, enjoy your bike anyway..

  • I feel you... But, dude, 08 still rockin!

It doesn't have all the new engine but still a R1.

A friend of mine bought a 08 white/red... Damn, that's so fu.... beaultiful. Each R1 color is cool. Blue is classic, but awesome. Black kinda disappears if the bike is far away or at night, but it's agressive. The red is good too. The white is my preference! Excelent paint quality, nice red seats etc...

Not to mention the engine sound... Music.

    cya!

  • hi Ganso1

im the lead rider Daniel/Immigrant thanks for your comments

i have not yeat ridden hard my bike yet but i must say A Mode is scary fast i mean i open mouth open scary

  • Hey!

Thanks for the post, what about full gas at low end rpm? Does it make you smile? I love low end torque, it's awesome. Don't know if you had a 08 R1, but if you did, what about the handling of the 09? They changed some things on the chassis, guess is even better in giving confidence and control.

  • These videos were cool! Awesome riding! Keep it up! I own the Yamaha R6 at the moment, but one day I would like to own the R1 (when I can afford it!). Check out my homepage to see some videos I have made!

  • goog one looks like the rode was all yours

  • again, Manfred thank you so much for taking the time !

always a pleasure to ride w/ You
