  • The 3 best are KFM, Krav Maga, and the good old box. But i tink the very best is

Krav Maga, its the most professional martial art. (military)

  • I'll throw in my 2 cents for the sake of it,. Dont study any fight sport, but spent alot of my life fighting for the sake of fighting, have the scars to prove it. Knowing where to look or already knowing where items of self defense are is seriously important. As is being overtly aggressive,. Ive seen many a hardman crumble when someone starts chewing on there face or really gouging out the eyes. from personal experience, no one can handle blood from eyes or exteme disfigurement.

  • i would love to learn this style!! it looks right up my ally!

  • Great thing about this style, it focus is on developing ones INSTINCT and that my friend is the most effective weapon on the street.

  • @kickboxer1391 dnt bother but instincts can't be developed over such a short time,it can help boost reflex, but instincts-no.Best fight style- pure killing without maiming moves,it doesn't look cool,it's so fast u won't understand what's happened.Kfm needs serious foot background vs asian style masters, countering long kicks with bone breaking knee blocks.

  • ive been training in kfm for 6 months now, and can say first hand it aint a scam.im gonna say the same as everybody else who studies it, turn up to a session, watch the instructors and tell themits a scam and its fake. kfm works. the students know it, the keyboard warriors think they do.

  • hoenstly, i have been doign this in NY for 3 months, you need to try it before you knock it. Seriously

  • COOL!!!!

  • it seemes to me a bit strange

i dont think that this system is really working... those high elbows are wierd

    but i will try it

  • @TsInferno Trust me they work! :) I tried a lot of martial arts but KFM is the best and since I began to do it I always came out clean and winner! And I just took the orange belt! Trust me...KFM WORKS!!!! :)

  • the music is good v.v

  • @m2orrego not trying to cut you down, but I have trained in several styles, MT and BJJ are good but problem with alot of the schools out there, is they don't provide you with proper training for the street. My friend showed me video 1 from the white belt series on Urban X and they talk about situational awareness and developing predator instinct. Thats something you don't get in most MT schools or BJJ schools. It can't be so bad if that is the first lesson you get.

  • trop bon....

  • its not a scam its demo i know andy and justo im a brown belt in kfm oh and its not exposing yourself its actually a neaturel defence put it this way why do you think its not in ufc because its so fucking hardcore kfm is more of a kick in the balls head but in the face elbow to the face rather than flying kick then backflip i say kfm is the way forward it can beat any martial art thrown its way if anyone disagrees i say you step into the ring with then and see what happens if not back down

  • I'm an experienced fighter and the reason it's not in MMA right now is because this is a street fighting method. But certain things are used in mma such as people block punches like that all the time in the sport. They just don't keep their hands in that position.

  • Certain things from this art work but it is flawed for the simple fact that it used a method. It's somewhat limiting. I'm a pretty experienced fighter and some of the training moves are flawed due to opponents not having realistic reactions. I was watching a training video and some of the holds they were using would not work against a well rounded fighter because they are so vulnerable to takedowns.

  • please, dont buy into this scam.. *sighs*

  • This style is a pure self-defensive style.

People who provoke you on parties & bars, just to fight against you aren´t (normally) Judoka´s or do krav maga.

It´s nearly perfekt against drunk bullies etc.

  • tvrulesnation totally right, that position (hands on ther heads) is a perfect position for a submission, if you do that in front of a judo , jiujitsu or krav maga guy , you are dead, can't see how works in a real fight neither

  • worked fo me ina real fight

  • i don't understand why they always put their hands on their head that is a VERY weak position to fight in (hence why POW are captured in war they put their hands on their head to surrender)

like your leaving your WHOLE body open for attack at the cost of jumping into somebody with your elbows?

& cmon buy online dvds? everybody knows that is bullshit that you can't learn via a book or internet how to use a martial art.

anybody want to prove me wrong? cause honestly i can't see how it works

  • im learning in a class and its working against people

  • @DavieeShoTzz

mhm well i amn't saying its totally a bullshit style but most modern created styles are just a mix of martial arts that are done by people who don't understand the body & the point of techniques.

Martial arts have been mixed for hundreds of years but by masters of certain arts who could point out the good & discard the bad.

mind explaining what you mean by ''its working against people'' do you mean in your dojo or what? because ALOT of youtube videos are bullshit

  • i mean ive been taking the class for a year now and ive used it in life and my friend went for jijitsu and i basically kicked his ass

  • @Davidlovesmac

how long has your friend been doing it?

is it a ''mcdojo'' that he is in?

is he naturally just not that good at martial arts?

    etc etc

just because you kicked your friends a*se doesn't mean it will work, put yourself in a stressful situation with a raging guy trying to batter the head off you & see how it works.

look 3:00 ALL this demos punches are too the head, his body is completely open & most importantly he is in a very vunerable position to just grab & knee or tackle

  • what the fuck did i say one of my opponents was my friends others were in the street leanr how to read

  • @Davidlovesmac

    your comment makes no sense.

you said you kicked your friends a*se with KFM & then i replied.

alot of styles work in the street because alot of people panic during fights on the street, & all it can take is one hit to bring somebody down.

you could have just got lucky with a clean shot

  • @Davidlovesmac

this is a jujitsu/judo practicioners dream, the amount of throws that can be excecuted from his stance is ridiculous, he is basicalyl giving the guy his arms & allowing himself to be pulled in.

i can point out so many flaws based on what i have seen of this style, it looks cool in Batman & all but Batman is a movie and he wears armor in it

against any typical thug this won't work.

the most practical movies i have seen are the Bourne trilogy & Taken, the rest is hollywood-fu

  • @tvrulesnation

Bullshido is Bullshit, a haven for professional forum posters wanting to feed they're ego status quo, BJJ is great for the ring. And a 1 on 1 street fight on grass.

TV rules the nation, thats why muay thai and jiu-jitsu rule the minds of the ignorant, Learn everything, make it work for you. Machida does shotokan karate, Chung le does Kung fu, if you make it work for you that is all that matters.

I can see how this is an effective Martial art

  • Justo Serrano (founder) was a special forces soldier with the spanish army, and has black belts in i believe several different forms of martial arts (i apologise i can't remember which off the top of my head).. in reply to your other comment, most forms of martial arts teach you fine motor skills such as certain grapples or moves - no fine motor skill can be recalled within the first 17 seconds of an adrenaline rush. KFM trains your mind to perform mass motor skills which can be recalled easily

  • he wasnt in the special forces he created it from street fighting in the coal mines in spain thats all it is its street fighting i know andy norman he's told me the story many time iv studied kfm im a brown belt the onyl reason why i dint get further is cus it just got to extreme it teachers on the inside and makes you basically dangerous if you took kfm you would know its brutal

  • @MrPirate93

"no fine motor skill can be recalled within the first 17 seconds of an adrenaline rush"

no wonder when training in 100 diffrent martial arts styles

  • @DavieeShoTzz

an eg being knife disarms that you see here, 99% of disarms don't work, you will rarely ever see trained knife fighters (silat, kali, escrima etc) using disarms because it is just too dangerous.

i really can't see though how exposing yourself like this though works (hands on head)

& btw alot of these videos are ''i go to punch you & hold my hand there while you counter attack & beat the shit out of me'' videos,

just be wary of what you pay for theres ALOT of scam artists

  • Justo è proprio un tipo giusto....

  • i did !! took a class of KFM but still!! !! it looks cool but i rather do mua thai and jiujitsu!! i would like to see a ufc fighter use this style to see what would happen!! :)

  • m2orrego: I cannot believe that there are ppl that try to speak about something they never tried out. Open YOUR eyes, try it and then come back. Maybe you should speak with some ppl of other sports before post stuff like this.

  • I cannot believe people actually buys this kfm bs!!! Bjj plus mua Thai should be enough to fight anyone on the street!!! Kfm may look cool!! But that's about it!! It only works on movies !! Open your eyes people!!!!

  • have you ever tooken a class in KFM i assume so right

  • I've personally trained with the Keysi pensador, and I have to say it's much better than even Krav in defense. I don't know what fake body mechanics ScopedOUT2 is talking about, but you can strike with elbows or fists or palm heels from the pensador block position. It takes about 1/50 of a second to make the transition and then whatever time it takes you to hit. Bottom-line, Keysi is incredibly effective and keeps you safe from 360 attacks as long as you know your surroundings.

  • ItsTheZinw--why not? What training have you had? I'm a brown belt in BJJ, a 2nd black in JKD, and I teach SWAT, SEALS, and local police forces. I've read comments such as yours for a while on YouTube bashing KFM, and quite frankly I'm getting tired of it. I just can't stay silent anymore. I too once disregarded KFM, but I always try new things--long story short I'm a student now working my way to the top. That's how you grow, you TRY SOMETHING before you cast it aside forever.

  • @basejjj4321 teach swat and seals? whats a big guy like you wasting his time talking to youtube trolls? XD

  • @basejjj4321 Let them doubt it, gives everyone els the unconventional card.

  • @basejjj4321 So you've been at it for a year max now...can you tell me your thoughts on Keysi in terms of effectiveness in the street, and compared to JKD and whatever program the SWAT and SEALS go through? Yes, I know its more about the stylist and how hard you train etc, but you seem experienced in these styles so maybe you can tell me more.

  • @basejjj4321 was in swat kinda thing 2,fighting was the last thing 2 worry,2 fight hand 2 hand u have to lose your main weapon, your pistol and your knife, running and aiming was much more important.I have seen many military styles, but they are pretty basic, they would all fail to good krav maga or this elbow style kfm.

  • ...........I cant believe anyone buys into this!

  • the way body mechanics work when your hand is on your head is exclusively for defense. Your bicep and shoulder muscles make it that way. Also, the back part of your arm isn't meant to rotate while your hand is on your head, YET keysi demos always show a fighter striking from this position, with their hands on their head and using that to elbow something. #$#$ keysi

  • My problem is that it appears to be very defensive, not offensive, that is, done against reactions and actions of others. What if they guy has a blade?

  • It's actually all offensive and very aggressive. You eventually learn defense against armed foes, as well as using whatever you have available as a weapon. A pen or a cellphone for instance. KFM focus on teaching you how to fight according to your instincts. That's what all the talk about "Predator instinct" is. One of the first things I got to experience while training KFM, was two guys hammering me with focus pads for 10 seconds while I had my back to the wall. 5 1/2 years of karate = no help

  • My martial arts background is in Shaolin Ch'uan Fa, Tae Kwon Do, and Shotokan Karate. I know the effectiveness of all of my techniques because I've trained myself so hard to develop confidence with them.

I can tell the Keysi is quite effective, and it operates on the same principle of devloping confidence with your techniques.

I'd love to study Keysi someday, and I'm really glad they chose it as Batman's main fighting style in the Nolan series, since it reflects Batman's personality.

  • how lomg does it take to learn.and what are its main principles.i think it looks very effective.

  • i am studying this myself, have done it for a year soon. Estimated time for reaching black grade is 3 years if you do 3x 1 hours training a week + some private training in front of the mirror. It is effective =)

  • Whichever martial arts or whatever technique that claims to be such and you can reach black belt in 3 years is bullshit!!

  • Its not. Try yourself. Its not like any other martial arts who have many hundred different techniques. They have a few techniques they are sure of, rest they have just tried, but they cant do them in a real situation. In Keysi there are a few techniques, then you just build up on these techniques, and shadow whatever you can every practice. This way you CAN every technique 100%. When you reach black grade, you aint outlearned, but you will be good. We also meditate the techniques we can.

  • Yep, for me any system or method that implements grades I think ridiculous... you dont go walking around the street with your black belt and expect an attacker to stop look at your belt and think... oh hold on, i better hammer fist this guy or throw one punch and wait to see his reaction...

  • Belts aren't meant to intimidate people, it's just a way to signify your competence level. Your comment is pretty silly

  • nah it isnt

  • Yes it is.

  • nah

  • Yes.

I'm a very bored person. I will argue for months at a time.

  • Lets see shall we?

I believe belts are meaningless in any martial art./../

  • I disagree, they are a way for the Teacher group students and verify the student's skill level and competence.

  • This will go on forever you know that right?

Due to the fact that I have my opinion and you have yours... its just like chucking in oil in water...

I truly believe that belts are no good for the arts as people many time want to achieve belts just to show off when really you should want to complete your art by having the urge to learn and achieve the top of your game, not just for a belt, for a binding of the mind and body!

... and skill level? well you see yellow belts beat black belts! so????

  • Sometimes winning isn't based upon skill level though, sometimes power is all that is needed.

The black belt could be more skilled, but the yellow belt may have a greater potential to be skilled

  • If we are moving away from belts now into power vs brains then I will have to go with brains!

A person who is weaker then his opponent but is much smarter then, he for sure stands to be victorious as I believe "The smartest will survive!"

  • I disagree, fighting should be more instinctual than thought based.

  • You really have to disagree with everything huh?

When in fighting mode, someone who knows when to hit and when to defend will most often then not overcome any opponent... whilst a opponent who uses shear power and continous blows will eventually leave himself open and vulnerable not only by his hands being all over the place but his gas tank running on empty very soon.

    Tyson, had power and brains,ali,joe lois.fedor. gsp.machida.sweet pea Whitaker, pacquiao,mayweather,willie pep,nicolino loche.

  • This is true.

  • at least we agree on something haha

  • I can't disagree and not provide an argument. lol

If I could have thought of an argument I would have. Or even if I could have come up with a way of saying you were wrong without just "I disagree"

I would have said it. lol

    Defeated me

  • if you have to think to keep your hands up, to counter, to strike, etc. then your training is serious incorrect. Fighting SHOULD be instinctual. You should be thinking of other things, such as a strategy to de-escalate the situation, get away, or a specific reaction. Thinking during a fight will only make you slower and affraid.

  • Yes, It is. You're judgment is clouded because you're an idiot.

  • What an idiot thing to say.

  • @Orcazoccola all a black belt means is that you've mastered the "basics", that has always been the case. 2 people with black belts could be easily on different levels of expertise depending on the gyms/dojos/schools requirements. Even then that style of fighting can either benefit/hinder that students expectations so it won't matter how good they become. What's bullshit are the pussies who've never fought and hide behind a computer screen (not calling anyone out or insinuating)

  • @Orcazoccola -- who the fuck cares about belts? the only important thing is to learn how to hit damn hard, how to defend the enemy's strikes, how to grapple and fight on the ground, etc etc

  • it starts from the "thinking man" position...I've incorporate moves and techniques from KFM in my Karate Dojo suprises the shit out of my students and collegues...OSU!!!(KARATE EXPRESSION)

  • why is there so much elbow throwing in Keysi

  • Because you are protecting the head at all times, therefore the elbows serve as the most readily available means of attack.

  • Not only are elbow strikes the readily available, but they are also more effective than punches.

  • Nice flow but where are the kicks. Guess that a kick or knee to the groin now and then would be a good add-on with the close range.

  • there is some kicks and knees

  • Keysi or Muay Thai?

  • Why not both if you really want to be good

  • looks good pre rehearsed, But looks are cheap. lets see it against a boxer, kick boxer, and then a grappler un rehearsed with a guy really coming at you.

  • I train with a guy that started off boxing, he does his KFM for a while then when he gets into it he falls back to his boxing, at which point it is pretty easy to pull him apart, good tho because it annoys the crap out of him and reminds him why hes doing KFM.. lol

  • Mix KFM with Kyokushin Karate and have that go up against an MMA Fighter. Pretty damn good match. (Having both fighters with the same amount of experience ofcourse.)

  • they are developping it to be used in mma and it is brutal lol

  • kfm or muay thai???

  • hmm the counters are so unbelievable unreal who would attack like that? but mastering this style and using it at a masters level could seriously get the opponent very hurt; I mean watch bat man fight in the movies like in dark knight. He is fighting groups and groups of people. Not only is this fighting style good for fighting multiple people its good for one on one as well. Definately something im going to self learn.

  • I just saw Dark Knight last night. Amazing film! The fight scene were much cleaner this time.

    I saw Batman

  • mercandising jajajjaja

  • I see a subliminal message here: "learn to fight like batman watching our tapes" XD, kidding. Still a very good video. KFM is the only fighting system I know that combines the use of natural instincts with martial arts. There is no better way to teach someone self defense in a fast way, knowing that everyone born with those instincts, it is pretty easy to learn KFM even by just watching tapes and practicing without an instructor, I think.

  • Will there be un-edited alive training? I'm sure you could use protective equipment and no one will die.

  • I looks quite effective and your right about the exposed body and leds for that matter...however it looks like a very close quater cobat style....i would like to see a full padded fight with 70-80% power

  • It is similar to an underground art used in american prisons. I would be interested to know how it works when the attacker is trying to grapple with you and whilst it makes sense to protect you head well, the body looks very exposed. Nonetheless looks pretty effective, I shall be nicking some concepts for my own training!

  • the idea is to get up close and keep controling ur opponent so they really don't get much chance to hit u bk lol

  • you get up close and personal to a 180kg man

  • Do you even know what you're talking about?

  • yes sir
