  • OMGGGG Loretta!! No wonder you seem familiar!! OMFGGG lol

  • dedication! man, I'm impressed this is great I to have been researching the culture but not studying the language yet.but you are an inspiration.

  • You are really going to be somebody!!! WOW!!! Japanese is such a beautiful language too! Keep it up and good luck! :)

  • my real purpose for learning japanese was to watch anime without subtitles. but now, I like the language in itself. like what you said, falling in love with the language! :D

  • Ive got the same idea about Japanese culture, etc., as you. I dont know why though. Personally, Im really interrested in Japanese lifestyle, and I'd really want to visit Japan and to feel what its like to live in a totally different environment. I use to live in Ukraine for 16 years, and now Im in Canada, so it is too a different environment, but theres something about japanese culture ("peacefulness") that draws me to it.

  • hmmm, there are so many languages i wanna learn. arab, mandarin (due to my sino-arab ancestry), spanish (philippines used to b a spanish colony but teaching spanish in schools has been abolished 2decades ago), hangul (hit by the korean wave big time!), italian (i must've bn a venetian in my previous life), NIHONGO (i would looove to visit japan). i also feel that nihongo is pretty easy and very simple, much like filipino...

  • may spanish na language course sa u.p. i suffered a whole academic year of forced education. ng spanish. lawlz. yeah, if you want to learn japanese, advice ko lang na maghalo ka ng Filipino grammatical connections. it works!

  • salamat. i think nihongo is offered in ue or feu. for spanish there's the instituto de cervantes. malayo kc up. the only problem is i don't have the guts to enrol :(

napansin ko nga me hawig ang nihongo sa filipino in terms of patterns...

  • How much Kanji do you know?

  • I actually don't know... Kanji is one of my weaker points actually. I can read many, but I forget how to write many because I'm out of practice... hrm...

  • Cool. Maybe I'll buy some of your hand made clothes someday. Hope that your wish come true!

  • I want to take Japanese but people will think im crazy XD

  • ;) i'd watch video number '6' then ;)

  • I know you posted this a LONG time ago, but I noticed that you accidentally wrote "なぜ英語を勉強してますか?" in the tags Instead of なぜ日本語を勉強しています?

  • I actually didn't post those tags, they carried over from the original video I replied to, but this is just a less casual more spoken form of 'shiteimasu'

  • O cool, you learn something new everyday. You should start posting some new vids again!

  • haha yeah i know i know...

  • i really agree with you though when you say that America has no culture and you want to embrace another culture.

  • omg, ur hair is so awesome

  • omg, ur hair is so awesome

  • :) Thanks!

  • FUN DANCE!

  • haha yup!

  • Yeah, that would be cool. If you opened up your own Japanese based or targeted store. I can't say I know of too many Japanese stores here in America; online ones don't count. Maybe you should have one branch here and one in Japan. Mixture of American and Japanese fashion, perhaps?

Is there any way I can see more of your scarves and little knitting things?

By the way, you're brilliant; interesting to watch.

  • thank you! For now, the only glimpse of knit things you get is what I sneak into videos...

  • Haha lucky,I wish they had Japanese at my high school, they have Chinese though. But Im going to push for Japanese next year.(like talking to my principle about having a japanese teacher/classes at my school)

  • HAHAHAHAHAAH omg

  • lol wut???

  • 面白いね~! 頑張りましょう~!

  • (Continued) The reason I'm studying it is because I plan to actually move to Japan one day, so i sure will need it. The culture, landscape, history.... All that stuff has influenced me to want to see it.. to be part of it, you know?

Your another person I can share this passion with, and thats pretty cool. リッキ-くん, Signing out.

    へ へ

    の の も ひ

  • :D I'm glad you're so dedicated! Yes, large classes make learning difficult, but you can study japanese in college in America as well! I'm brushing up on my japanese here at my college and its a great experience! :D Good luck!

  • Mhmm. Thanks ^^

Speaking of Japanese, I've got to go study for a conversation skit tomorrow. c-ya! ^^

  • Heheh, ur awsome. Im taking Japanese in High School also. Its pretty cool, but my huge class makes it hard to learn, so sadly, I wont know much by the time I graduate. However, I have heard that there are Japanese-teaching colleges in Japan, so i'll probably go into one of those if things dont work out.

  • keep up the japanese sister!

    john

  • haha will do~!

  • 400レベルの後日本へ行けばいいじゃん??それからもっと高いレベルの授業があるよ。来年春休みに日本へ会いに来てね。留学すれば割合高くないよ。

  • heehee i'll think about it ;)

  • you don't know me =.=;;

but i was the chubby strange asian girl that attended misako's farewell party also. :D

  • I remember seeing you around the halls when I was a freshman in HS, I believe you were a Senior? I always thought your legwarmers were awesome!! I don't really think many people are taking Japanese and Thakur sensei serious anyways. =\ But it's cool to hear that you're still learning Japanese and stuff! BTW, do you still keep in touch with Misako?

  • heheh thanks~! and how true about thakur-sensei, etc... I've been trying to keep in touch with her (I send her a letter annualy) but she hasn't gotten back to me for a few years... o_o; who is this, btw?

  • right on: American culture is the absence of culture. Or something....

  • yup~!

  • Lovely, cute, sexy, hot and kawaii, thoses are the words that describe YOU!!!

  • wow....and all I can say is "flattered" ^^ thank you very much for watching!

  • Your english is so clear and crisp, you would be a very popular English teacher if you ever decide to come here to teach for a while.

  • ^^ thank you! :D haha wow I've never heard that before~. I still am considering being a kateikyoushi on the side...but hey! who knows? :)

  • あれ!あれ!これは誰だか?!あなたの踊り方は"すGAY"!!! :P

    あの。。。ちょっと。。。えいと。。。あのダンスを教えてくださいませんか?!ねえ?!

BTW, "sensical" isn't a word, darling. "Sensible" is what you meant :P 日本語を勉強する前に、もっと英語を勉強した方が良いと思うね!

  • xD omg its you. lol w00ps! ねえ~!! lol don't hate on my "dancing"! =P you'd best be appreciatin' ~! haha. :P where's your ビデオ response? e? OMG ~! hahah in my promo-video there's definately a reference to thhe whole "reizouko no naka ni haita chiizu wo tabeta..." thing~ lol xD;

  • haha i never realized... didnt know that nonsensical existed but not sensicall =.=''

  • Hahaha, freaking AWESOME!

I'm way excited about it. Definately. I'll be your #1 viewer (probably the first viewer too!).

    Whooooooooooo~

  • Hah. That was awesome! Kemushichan, you're my hero...seriously. You totally put into words what I couldn't in my video because I was all nervous and like "I'VE NEVER DONE A VIDEO BLOG BEFORE OMG OMG OMG"

Yah......anyway, thanks. That was fun to watch ^_^. If you can make me a manly scarf (xD) then I MIGHT buy somethin from you (although here we don't really need them cause its almost never cold), but yeah...show me what you got.

    BYE~

  • hahah aww glad to oblidge? I actually did a lot of editing and reshooting cuz i started rambling TOO much~ glad it didnt bore you to death! haha wooo scarves!

  • hahaha

It's cool that you kind of have to go against the grain.

You should show us some of your stuff.

  • haha, which is funny cuz it goes against the whole "出るくいは打たれる"hammer down the protruding nail into conformity saying/mentality of japan. bwaha w00ps!
