U dont really need to block someone straight up in order to win Defensive Player of the Year. U see everyone loves shotblocking, but look at guys like Posey and Bowen and in the past, Rodman and Payton both DPOY, dont block shots, but played great D'. So blocking a shot is just one aspect of playing defense. Doesnt LJ block and steal the ball? Hes not a shutdown defender yet but will be.

This year LeBron is averaging 33 minutes per night (third on the Cavs), second of all, LeBron hardly ever brings the ball down the court (in fact Mike Brown has said in interviews he is making it a point that he is keeping LeBron off the ball to make plays, and third even if he was a so called "point guard" (and shooting the ball on most plays) how come he is third on the Cavs in rebounding at 7.8 a game?
