man thinking about it, when mark ellis got hurt during the playoffs it really killed us, the dude who replace him went 0 for during the ALCS. If ellis was heathly they could of beat the tigers
I will never ever forget this game...It was the best time I ever had at an A's game. I was sitting 1st row in the 2nd deck by the LF foul pole. I fractured my wrist because I was pounding on the scoreboard. The best part was everybody was still chanting Scutaro's name when DeAngelo Jimenez was batting....awesome.
I HAVE BEEN TO WORLD SERIES GAMES DURING THE 72-73-74 IN OAKLAND...I WAS AT THIS GAME IN L.F. SEC. 134....THIS BY FAR WAS THE BEST MOMENT EVER!!!! I HAD TEARS RUNNING DOWN MY FACE WHEN HE DID THE ''SPIDERMAN' POSE AT 2ND BASE..... A GREAT MEMORY I'LL NEVER FORGET....CHANTING '' MAR-CO SCUT-ARO'' HAD KINDA A SOCCER GAME ATMOSPHERE...... THE 35,000 PLUS SOUNDED MORE LIKE 50,000....THANX FOR THE POST....
This was the loudest I've ever heard the coliseum for an A's game, esp considering the original baseball capacity was 55, 000 and they only had 36k capacity for this game.
I went to game one of the 1989 WORLD SERIES which was great. However Scutaro's bases clearing double was the greatest moment I think I have ever experienced at an A'S game. I just remember yelling at the top of my lungs for the whole inning hi 5ving every A's fan in sight. One of the funnest crowds walking into the stadium. I happened to luck out and be at the Yankees game yesterday with Marco Scutaro's clutch hitting again. Forget Hugo Chavez, MARCO SCUTARO' el presidente of VENEZUELA
Best games I have ever been to:
Game 17 and 20 of the 20 game win streak, big game vs NY where Tejada hit a walk off in the 11th after tying it in the ninth, and this game.

Aaah the memories. I was in section 229 and it was a cold day, unusual for Oakland in October.
Didn't Chavy hit one out this game too?
It felt like we could win it all that day, then the bats got cold in Detroit.
Probably the best game at the Coliseum I've been to.

you guys can celebrate all you want, but the twins will have the last laugh cause we'll win the WORLD SERIES before you guys even get back to one.
