When I close my eyes and listen to the song, it takes me back to where I grew up in Thailand, refugee camp. I was surrounded with all friendly faces, staying after school to play soccer with classmates, and on weekend we sneaked out from the camp and went up the mountain to explore. It was great time indeed. But here in US, went through high school, college, university and now work but hardly have any Khmer friends.. I miss my saitu camp although I was sooo young, but I remember everything.
