these rustlers were older model ones, made before traxxas came out with the waterproof electronics. and i am running a mm 5700kv combo in that car so saran on the chassis was nessecary
Everythings waterproof on the rustler, you shouldnt have to wrap anything with saran wrap. It's not recommended but it's even possible to completly submerge it in water
as far as waterproofing, I wrap the chassis in saran wrap, you don't have to worry about the motor. paddle tires would be the best, or some kind of chains, bu I was just using the masher 2000s

i baught mine waterproofed, the guy said that i shouldnt submerge it but it can go pretty deep

the black rustler has masher 200's and the other one has dirt hawgs in th rear. stock ribs in the front.
