  • That was a really funny story and an amazing deal. I would of drove that far as well. I hope to own a TG-16 someday.

  • @tweirup Thanks Tyler! Hope all is well.

  • THUMBS DOWN FOR YOU, OH YEAH BABY!

  • The TG16 is such a great system. It has its share of crappy titles, but the good ones are extremely good. I sold my TG16 stuff a while back, but plan on rebuilding that collection down the road. I think the Turbo Boosters can be hard to find sometimes, and especially a working CD drive. As far as US games go, I recommend also picking up Super Star Soldier, Splatterhouse, Ninja Spirit, R-Type, Air Zonk, and Dragon's Curse. Great pickups!

  • @beigemore Thanks for the comment and recommendations! How have you been by the way?

  • Nice work with this video Johnny,i loved the driving sequences how did you make the footage move by so quickly? The whole pickup story sounds completely crazy,im not sure that i would have stayed inside of the house but the Turbo Graphix was well worth hanging around for :)

  • @darrenwalshsock Thanks Darren! I changed the speed/duration of that portion of the video. I think I changed it to 10x normal speed. I know what you mean about not wanting to stay. I was sending text messages to my wife during that time, just to let her know I was okay. LOL!

  • The turbo grafx 16 is awesome.

  • @lvpepe38 Thanks for watching, Louis! I agree!

  • That is really creepy, but that is a really awesome score on the Turbo Graphix 16, i still remember playing it at my friends mostly playing Bonks. Something similar but not creepy happend to me when my brother and I went to pick up a N64 with games off of craigslist. We drove past the house really slow, and my brother sticks his hand out and points at the house like a gun and tells me is that the house, only thing is there was a bunch of people infront of the house and i think we scared them.

  • @rrob78 Thanks man! I would like to add Bonks to the collection at some point. LOL @ your story! I assume the pickup went okay?

  • That was so much fun to film with you and CJ. You did a great job putting it all together!

  • @booinnc Thanks, babe! :) Your camerawork was great!

  • @johnnyjohnson It helped that I wasn't doubled over laughing. :D

  • That's awesome! A Turbo Grafx for and all that for $40 can't be beat!

The dramatization was hilarious! I probably would have been cautious of that kid too.

  • Congrats on picking up the turbo grafx... u got a sweet deal!

  • @rllanos87 Thanks for watching!

  • Wow, fantastic TG-16 lot for an awesome price. Never heard of Somer Assault but Time Cruise is an awesome pinball game. I did a review on it a couple years ago. I'll send a video response :)

  • @atarileaf Thanks Jeremy! Somer Assault is a very unique game to say the least. I've just added your video response. :) Looking forward to checking it out!

  • @atarileaf Just noticed that I had spelled Assault wrong in the video. Oh well, nothing a little annotation can't correct. LOL! :)

  • Dude awsome video! you got a Turbo Grafx! that is so awsome. I really want to get the CD attachment they have some cool games for it. But wow man what an awsome price for all that! definitely cannot beat that. Got some pretty solid games to start off with as well. Glad you made it out alive and with the your best pickup ever! hahah

  • @TheRetroBrian Thanks Brian! I know, I couldn't believe he sold all that for such a great price! He was in the process of moving so I guess he just wanted it gone.

  • Excellent deal and the dramatization was hilarious.

I would like to have a Turbo some day so i can play Splatter House.

  • @IntellivisionDude Thanks buddy! Yes, Splatterhouse is definitely a game I would like to add to the collection at some point.

  • LOL! Nice video, Jon. This one was very entertaining and hilarious!

  • @ctlinstrom74 Thanks for watching my friend!

  • Excellent pickup, and for only $40. That's great! Funny video too. Got a good laugh out of the "dramatization". :)

  • @retroswede Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it! We had fun shooting the footage. :)

  • Hahahaha... this turned out so well! Great job! :)

  • @istherenoreason21 Thanks CJ! I appreciate you helping out with it!

  • Maybe the kid is the cleaner of the house? That is awkward perhaps a test they do to everyone who buys from them to see if they'll wait or not?

Wow an Atlus game from 1992 :O that is awesome! The Shockman cover and game look so detailed with the anime look.

Great deal Johnny $40 that is less than $4 a piece for everything.

  • @Tom360degrees LOL! Yes, the Shockman game does have great cover art. Thanks for watching, Tom!

  • awesome to see a new video from you johnny. What an amazing pick up. I cant believe you found a tg cd in the wild. YOu know that story was so funny. I ve had a couple like that. This one guy had swords everywhere and he wanted to get drunk with me. LOL>

  • @tb46667 Thanks a lot Tom! Yes, I was very excited to learn that it included a bunch of accessories, especially the CD. :) LOL @ your story! Glad everything worked out.

  • Wow great pickups Johnny - I had a similar experience when I picked up my Saturn. That is I went to Amsterdam. Got picked up by a old guy in one of these small cars used by people with mobility issues and we toured all across Amsterdam and I ended up in their home drinking coffee and them demoing the Saturn. They brought me back to my car and I had spent about 3 hours in their home - fun and creepy at the same time... :P

  • @markvergeer Thanks Mark! That's an interesting story with what happened to you. Not sure how I would have reacted to being toured all across a city. They sound like friendly enough people though. :)

  • this is awesome !!! amazing video JJ... amazing deal... have fun with your new system!

  • @goffmen Thanks Geoff! I appreciate it! I'm sure it will keep me busy for a while. :)

  • haha, that's weird about the kid polishing his sword and giving you the evil eye.

Awesome haul for $40! wow, just had a flashback on the game Vigilante. Was it in the arcades? ...remembering playing it somewhere..

    Great video Johnny :)

  • @thomas3120 Thanks Thomas! Yes, Vigilante was in the arcades back in the day.

  • Awesome video Johnny, really well put together, did you use a green screen? Thanks for sharing the story, and $40 for all that is amazing!!

  • @SeanSidious Thanks Sean! Actually, I used a green bed sheet for the green screen effect. LOL!
