For years I have been telling people to look into Chapter 13 Bankruptcy as a possible solution for their mortgage foreclosure difficulties, and I thought I would take advantage of the rare opportunity (which was posted on the Bankruptcy Court's website) to meet with the Bankruptcy Judge who handles all of the District's Chapter 13 cases, as well as highly experienced bankruptcy lawyers who assisted. Are you interested in becoming a delegate?
@carlpers2 Hmm I'm not quite sure what you mean by delegate so I'm guessing probably not? I graduate nursing school soon but right now we share a home with my husbands family, but recently we were made aware of the fact that they have not been making payments on the home (or anything else for that matter) so it looks like they are filing for chapter 13 but I'm just hoping the house doesn't get taken out from underneath us in the mean time.
