Eiko Ishioka did the costume design for this episode, she also collaborated with Coppola for "Bram Stoker's Dracula" and now works on Tarsem's films. (One of them just happens to be the Snow White movie "Mirror Mirror".)
Rip Van Winkle didn't "like to sleep." His wife wasn't named Wilma, and his dog certainly wasn't a hound. Somebody needs to read the actual story before making these videos.
I thought this one was very profound. The man slept for 20 years, and everything changed. It's about growing old. He seemed nice. I remember him in a Christmas movie as a child.
Love how the old all-knowing wise voice can't keep his stoic composure at 3:57

This story seems better suited for "Shelley Duvall's Tall Tales and Legends" rather than "Faerie Tale Theatre".

Also, Tim Conway is freakin' legend.
