40 Miles on an overnight charge? What happens when I've driven those 40 miles, does gas kick in?

infin1ty yes,the Chevy Volt is always powered off the Batteries,when the charge gets low the small gas motor recharges on the fly so you have a driving range I suppose of 500 plus miles, if driven less than 40 miles you'd never use gas just plug it in to charge
