@ALPHAHXCORE Alan Cake, it was pretty bad :) The game experience felt very clinical and calculated, there was very little room for free though or free roam, despite the wood parts giving the illusion of such. Nothing like what it was marketed ass in the trailers it was depicted in. your turn.

Alan wake was by far one of the best games I have ever played. It was like playing in a movie. The grafics, music, and story line was simply amazing. I hope if they make a second one they should not rush it. I hate when developers make a peice of shit after a great game.

It's not really a horror game, but have you seen the flashlight indoors? It's a pretty bright flashlight. Course, it's not gonna light up the pine trees.
WOW the level is just one big open area. thats cool, alot better than like CoD and Halo were those mounds structures off in the distance are just poorly designed buildings, that are not even slighty effected by the enviorment.
FANBOYS! STFU! Microsoft and Sony need to have a love child console, a console with Sony's amazing hardware and Blu-ray/poly-phony Tech and Microsoft's ingenuity and Sales/User interface skills. The 360 sells because it was first on the market, but anyone who owns both knows the PS3 has more power. I hope the next Generation is 1 console, so that the Halo Fanboys can taste the true perfection of MGS4's singleplayer and PS3 fanboys can taste the true perfection of Halos Multiplayer.

Face recognition, voice recognition, starting to sound a bit too Sci-Fi no? No more motion controllers, no more silly cameras. Combine them both, but you can still use your game controller? Yes please.

I love x box, I love PS3 they are both powerful machines the difference is that I mooded my box and now I can download whatever game I want for free even before is officially released.
So I'm just spending big bucks on PS3's exclusive games now, no need to fight I love them both and of course I will buy the next generation of consoles as well

This is just like a glorified Uncharted, going for the great graphics and natural environments. I'm pretty sure it WON'T be the best game around (purely because the Metal Gear Solid series shits on every other game ever created). And this little video shows you what happens in 9/10 great games. This isn't some sort of "breakthrough" or something. You should see the physics engines that go into FIFA games. Graphics structures in Metal Gear Solid. This game looks pretty pointless and out of place.

But the PS3 has two independent modules allowing for more efficient use and power transmission, heat reduction, etc. The graphics processing unit is miles better on the PS3, it uses the Nvidia graphics card with a RSX Reality Synthesiser, together clocking 550MHz. The Xbox uses a cheap ATI Xenos, clocking 500MHz. The Xbox uses DVD, which is outdated.

In terms of sales, Microsoft has a minor advantage, which is due to it being released over a year ago, you should know that by now. I did not say the graphics for this game are only capable for a PS3, again a false statement. The Wii sold 68m because it is cheap and appeals to a much wider age range of the market. And besides, no gamer takes the Wii seriously as a games console, so it's not about sales.
Blu-ray has pracitcally no effect on gaming considering that most games fit fine on DVD9. And why would XBox users need Blu-ray if we have the ability to stream or download full 1080p movies with surround sound off the zune marketplace?

Great game I'll download it for sure.
I love x box, I love PS3 they are both powerful machines the difference is that I mooded my box and now I can download whatever game I want for free even before is officially released.
So I'm just spending big bucks on PS3's exclusive games now, no need to fight I love them both and of course I will buy the next generation of consoles as well

@Jw31187- you have no fuckin idea what you're talking about, the ps3 has the most advances GPU graphics card in the world, nvidia themselves have said its more powerful than 2 of their top range 8500GT graphics cards. Compare that to the shitty xbox360 graphics card. And the ps3 has 8 cell processors compared to the xbox360's pathetic power pc processor, yeah maybe xbox live is better.. If the shitty Xbox360 didn't keep breaking down, and didn't use a old out of date CD format

This is just like a glorified Uncharted, going for the great graphics and natural environments. I'm pretty sure it WON'T be the best game around (purely because the Metal Gear Solid series shits on every other game ever created). And this little video shows you what happens in 9/10 great games. This isn't some sort of "breakthrough" or something. You should see the physics engines that go into FIFA games. Graphics structures in Metal Gear Solid. This game looks pretty pointless and out of place.

1. I have nothing against games that are movie-like. They just don't tend to be successful. Let's use your example: Heavy Rain. It entered the market long after the christmas period, encountering little competition, and it didn't sell great numbers.
2. I think you misunderstood me over the use of "last-ditch". I was not commenting over the length of production, but rather the nature of release. After 5 years, the Xbox's technology is dated, and developers are trying to keep the 'fire burning'.

@osmandan Okay the xbox is not dated at all,pisses me off when people say that,the xbox actually has a better gpu,the ps3 has 24 Pixel Shader Pipelines vs xbox's 48 Dynamically Scheduled Shader Pipelines.Both have same mount of RAM.Ps3 has a better cpu,tho not by much,even the guys who worked on it said so,and dont say crap like its not being used a 100%.That like me saying in the worlds fastest man,buy I cba running.the xbox 360 is better for general processing,it has 3 cores vs ps3 1 core.

WHAT? Are you stupid?! The PS3's processor has 8 cores in total VS the Xbox's 3 cores! Not only 1 core! They both have the same RAM, in total. But the PS3 has two independent modules allowing for more efficient use and power transmission, heat reduction, etc. The graphics processing unit is miles better on the PS3, it uses the Nvidia graphics card with a RSX Reality Synthesiser, together clocking 550MHz. The Xbox uses a cheap ATI Xenos, clocking 500MHz. The Xbox uses DVD, which is outdated.

Lol thats shows your intelligence,it has 7 specialized SPE cores, Which aren't like cores at all, three sections of the CPU that can to specific task,eg:1 core is used for the OS.The xbox has 6 SPE'S.The cell is better,but not by much,even people who worked on it at IBM confirmed,but a good CPU wont make up for the weak GPU.The xbox cpu is like a PC cpu,the cell is different.Xbox gpu has more Transistors,slower Mhz,more GPU Cores and better Efficiency.

In terms of sales, Microsoft has a minor advantage, which is due to it being released over a year ago, you should know that by now. I did not say the graphics for this game are only capable for a PS3, again a false statement. The Wii sold 68m because it is cheap and appeals to a much wider age range of the market. And besides, no gamer takes the Wii seriously as a games console, so it's not about sales.

Blu-ray has pracitcally no effect on gaming considering that most games fit fine on DVD9. And why would XBox users need Blu-ray if we have the ability to stream or download full 1080p movies with surround sound off the zune marketplace?
The Cell processor has 1 core and 7 SPUs.
