  • zeroTHERM Nirvana.

  • I love Zigmatek as a company I really like there fans. But honestly HDT is a technology that never fully worked. All the worst coolers on the market use HDT and then market it as an improvement.

  • @vearheart42 you fail, at the moment the top two coolest air coolers for amd are the eclipse ii and aegir both are HDT

  • @CrossyCriss Umm from everything tIve read on them The Noctua NH-D14 is better and does it silently. Also note I said that 7 months ago.

Not saying those are bad cooler I'm just saying Non-HDT coolers have ALWAYS been top dog.

  • Nice simulation of how the heats gets blown away. But what are the temps you could get with this?

  • I had one of these and I returned it I was totally umimpressed. The base of the heatsink isn't even flat there are gaps between the heatpipes. I don't know why they would make it this way because it's just plain stupid. I'm going with a Prolimatech Mega Shadow. It'll work way better than these and it looks tightt

  • I bought mine not by reading into the gimmiks but because independant reviews and testing gave this a decent mark.

Now I own one I am pleased to say that it does what it advertised and handles my OC Phenom X2 at load.

    Use with Arctic Silver!!!!

  • That's why HDT coolers stand no chance against non-HDT coolers with high quality bases which dissipate the heat evenly to all heatpipes. Don't believe me? Buy a HDT cooler and try to cool a very hot overclocked i7 and measure how long it takes to the CPU to go throttle.

Though xigmatek's pathetic marketing strategy works well in promoting those bullshits.

  • HDT is ultimate bullshit innovation in cooling solutions. Why?

Because unless you have a lapped or perfectly flat CPU IHS only two heatpipes will make good contact with the cpu. Even if you have a lapped CPU due to the fact that most of the CPU's heat is dissipated in the center of the IHS only two (max) heatpipes will make contact there to disipate the heat. Imagine how good the heat transfer will be if the CPU has a concave IHS.

  • what the hell. but it very big and it takes much volume right?

  • not really that large and pretty damn quiet TBH

  • I want it for my collection.

  • I want

  • WOW
