Im a big fan of line6 gear, but im slowly but surely moving out of that modeling, digital realm and back into "just an amp, and great pedals" realm. and its totally cool.

Good for you, man. My rig (no joke) used to consist of a Line 6 Floor Pod Plus multiFX and a Line 6 spider III. Then the FPP broke and I got a big muff and a classic crybaby. since then i am now aiming to get a fender blues junior and a crowther audio hotcake. I have gotten many more pedals since then. :)
