Learn this from a qualified AOL teacher to correct any mistakes you might make. The courses have very reasonable prices. By following these "instructions" you will probably not be practicing correctly.

I was inspired to take an art of living course in the hope of relinquishing material aspirations and attaining a more spiritually enhanced life. All well and good except for the fact that said course is now priced at R650 and thats just for part one.

The course has to be done under guidance bcaz its just not people learn about sudarshan kriya and pranayam,bhasrika;

They learn human values while undergoing course, they learn loving themselves and everyone and something greater than that a sense of belongingness.

NO DOUBT THAT IT WILL BE USEFULL ONCE U HAVE DONE THE COURSE.

SO DONT CRITICIZE THEM WITH UR SMALL MIND OR PREJUDICE.

I couldn't agree more, I loved the course and it had a huge impact on my life but the secrecy and idolatry led me to distancing myself from the organization.

I took the course and I am absolutely delighted to see this excellent demonstration of the technique here on YouTube. In my perception, it does not differ at all from what I learned during the course. And while it is always better to be under observation of teachers while learning any new techniques, it is also true that a) not everyone can afford it and b) there need not be any secrecy of any knowledge. The secrecy and idolatry were the only things I did NOT like about the Art of Living

@violinclass Idolatry? Please elaborate. I have taken a couple of AOL courses, and never saw anyone worshipping objects as gods. Please explain what you mean, as I am interested by your interpretation as someone else here also said the same thing.

@violinclass I have never seen any promotion of idolatry. Seriously man you are confusing and mixing different groups of idea together. In India there are some Hindus that might practice idolatry, which is their choice, but there is a clear separation between that idolatry and meditation. I think you mixing ideas here. From my knowledge of Art of Living it is all about meditation and helping people. I never saw one bit of idolatry.

Knowledge shall be free. Never delete the knowledge. Tell those who wish to control knowledge that knowledge must be free. It makes no difference if your leader says to control the knowledge. Knowledge shall be free.

@carldietz I totally agree. The reason why Dharmic values and principles are threatened is because people choose to keep them a secret. The way you prevent them from being threatened is you let people know about the knowledge and give credit to those who people or cultures that produced it.

as this techniques are meant to be taught in our art of living courses

if it is presented or demonstrated by you as above , people will not register for the course and rarther see the video and learn,,

its better to delete the video ,,,,,,, because let them come to the course and learn the entire sudhrshan kriya rather than learn it half on youtube without or under proper guidance,,
