hand of reckoning will dmg the target if it isnt targeting the tank even when the target is taunt immune. its holy dmg which is heavily threat boosted from righteous fury etc, so it's still an effective skill.

In ICC, there's a little boss named Lady Deathwhisper; she does a debuff on a tank, Touch of Insignificance, which reduces Threat generated by 20%; it stacks up to 100%; guess what: many Raids do the boss with 1 Tank full-time; that is because ToT and MD make it possible to hold aggro even with 100% reduced threat

@0oo00oo000ooo I think 4.0.1 is going to be bad tbh for current content. You lack 5 points, so you will lack quite a bit in your spec. I haven't looked into every class's specs, but as far as I have seen its not looking good for the guilds who are still progressing trough ICC.
@Alika1212 Yeh well im not 100% sure how it is today due im not playing wow anymore. But playing pally tank was far easier than playing a warrior when i played. I remember spamming my ass off as tank (warrior at burning crusade) and then switched to a friends pally (at BT and Mount hyjal raids) and it was a lot more easier even though i didnt really know what spells i had to use back by then.

@Exiless0 omg no =P. i HATED healing druids, they take tons of damage, they do a decent job with aggro but avoidance is another story. imo warriors and OP blood DKs are the best tanks atm. No joke one time in the guild I was in we wiped on Sindragosa yet for 2 min+ our blood tank survived on his own and kept himself up w his self heals. as for palis they made it so they actually have to spam their other abilities, consecrate does crap threat gen on its own. wars can now multi mob tank =)
@Alika1212 Nah consecration threat gen never changed. It's just that it's always naturally scaled really poorly with gear. If you consecrate with full 277, you won't even do more than double damage from being naked.
add hand of reckoning (taunt spell) in your rotation...it does about 2000+ damage and has no global cool down, so it adds a few extra dps here and there

This tank failed big time, the paladin one that is, not only does he click the ability's while needing your mouse for several other things, he also does not use the rotation paladins have to keep up!
it takes 5 buttons and a ton of keystrokes to finish one rotation, where a mouse simply wont cut it!

Normally i'm not as harsh towards clickers as everyone else is, as long as they can play well (after all, thats the important thing). That being said, the prot pala in this video is HORRIBLE. Whether you're clicking or pressing keybinds, if you are not able to press something at pretty much every GCD, you don't belong in high end raiding.

I'm not saying I have anything against clickers as such, but what is annoying me is that a lot of people defend clickers in the way that "it's just as good" - because it's NOT.
A clicker will never be as good as someone who's using keybinds, so please, don't try to convince me that clickers are better - they're viable, but definitely not better.

@0oo00oo000ooo I think 4.0.1 is going to be bad tbh for current content. You lack 5 points, so you will lack quite a bit in your spec. I haven't looked into every class's specs, but as far as I have seen its not looking good for the guilds who are still progressing trough ICC.

@Alika1212 Yeh well im not 100% sure how it is today due im not playing wow anymore. But playing pally tank was far easier than playing a warrior when i played. I remember spamming my ass off as tank (warrior at burning crusade) and then switched to a friends pally (at BT and Mount hyjal raids) and it was a lot more easier even though i didnt really know what spells i had to use back by then.
I can agree with some nerfs. But still:P And now for WotLK i guess Druids aint having it hard either.

@Exiless0 omg no =P. i HATED healing druids, they take tons of damage, they do a decent job with aggro but avoidance is another story. imo warriors and OP blood DKs are the best tanks atm. No joke one time in the guild I was in we wiped on Sindragosa yet for 2 min+ our blood tank survived on his own and kept himself up w his self heals. as for palis they made it so they actually have to spam their other abilities, consecrate does crap threat gen on its own. wars can now multi mob tank =)

@Alika1212 Nah consecration threat gen never changed. It's just that it's always naturally scaled really poorly with gear. If you consecrate with full 277, you won't even do more than double damage from being naked.

add hand of reckoning (taunt spell) in your rotation...it does about 2000+ damage and has no global cool down, so it adds a few extra dps here and there

it really all depends what im playing...if im tanking i will click...if im dpsing like on my hunter i will keybind...healing i do both(clicking for trinkets/cds)

I like how the pally tanked a heroic Halion kill. Which most of you haven't seen. But still he gets shit for clicking. You don't have to be like everyone else to be good. Obviously he is better than you because you are watching his video. Where he is telling you how to do it. l2Play people. I have so-so gear and out DPS 277 ilvl toons all day. Because I don't play like people tell me to.

This tank failed big time, the paladin one that is, not only does he click the ability's while needing your mouse for several other things, he also does not use the rotation paladins have to keep up!
it takes 5 buttons and a ton of keystrokes to finish one rotation, where a mouse simply wont cut it!

A friend of mine was a clicker, and played 2's and 3's to 2400+, just sayin'.
Also, if it gets the job done, who gives a flying shit about how you do it? Addons already play the game for you anyway.

@Imban3z There's lot of clickers who get gladiator title or are high ratings Surely, clicking isn't fastest method possible. But if he's a good player and does what he is expected from. Then that's all there is to it. I'd hate to try to diss or change a person who does fantastic job, with clicking. Then try to make that player do what he isn't so good at and press the buttons.
and if there's choice between a good clicker player and not so good button presser, I would gladly choose the clicker

Normally i'm not as harsh towards clickers as everyone else is, as long as they can play well (after all, thats the important thing). That being said, the prot pala in this video is HORRIBLE. Whether you're clicking or pressing keybinds, if you are not able to press something at pretty much every GCD, you don't belong in high end raiding.
