Do you want to make money, maybe an extra £700-£1000 a month? For about 20 mins a day work?
This method is SOLID and PROOVEN! You will be taught step by step on how to make money ONLINE from the comfort of your chair. This is not one of those fake "GET RICH SCHEMES". This method requires you to put some effort in, but you WILL make money No doubt.
I'm so sick of these guys razzin you on the tempo of your speech but looking at your come back quips you don't seem to have a problem handling them. Thank-you so much for posting. Can you reccommend any sites where an unknown but talented artist can make a modest living? I want to sell my sculptures. I've been thinking about flea markets....
Hi, sorry it's taken longer than expected to get back to you. If your sculptures are easily sent through the mail or via courier then opening an etsy(.)com shop might be for you. etsy is the number one site, recommended by artists (often ahead of ebay) for selling hand made items online. If you think flea markets may be the way to go then look for dedicated art and craft markets rather than general flea markets as you'll be able to price higher and you'll be selling to people looking for art.
hey TET these videos have really helped me i have researched the market on ebay for my particular style of work i have gone for space painting as my work by far is better then the person who also sells on there and i can do them cheaper as i pay £1 for my paint. my first listing is going up tonight so i have my fingers crossed thank you
Best of luck with your sales. I really hope your research pays off. If perchance it doesn't go as well as you've hoped to begin with just keep in mind it takes a while to build up your reputation and trust with your market. Perseverance. Don't forget to advertise your auctions too :-)
Urg! I accidentally rated this down instead of pressing "play!" YouTube really needs to fix that, or at least let us re-rate the video. Stupid YouTube. Sorry about that. :(
You have great video's they are informative! I like the calm clear way you talk. Ebay no longer really cares about the sellers (thier partners) only the power sellers who mass sell like electronics. They are the Wall mart of the internet and are loosing ground becuase if thier mistakes. I have done much better elsewhere, People want wall mart prices there so that has to be exceptable to you, and may keep the value of your work down. I guess you can sell your scetches and journaling?
i actually really enjoyed these talks they were very informative and relaxed. I also feel that the fact you talked slow is fine because i had a pen and paper to jot notes and you didnt talk bullshit it was a very honest talk
Thanks for taking the time to watch all three and comment on each too. I know my pacing is difficult to handle (even for me - rewatching them). All of them are ad-libbed because I would never have made them if I'd had to write out notes before hand. Hopefully you got my personal experience from using ebay and I cleared up some misconceptions about ebay being 'easy money'. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the comment. I certainly wouldn't have thought that my slower pace might be useful for people who don't speak English as a first language. Thanks for watching.
It's true. I HATE impatient people & people who don't have enough respect to LISTEN & honor the fact that not everyone speaks the same way or same speed. Speaking a little slower is better than speaking super fast with a bunch of idiotic filler words like, umm, uhhh, ya, like, annnnnd, buuuut, et cetera. My mother was 80% deaf and her worst pain came from disrespectful ppl who refused to slow down and enunciate. Society is too disrespectful these days & doesn't realize they lose out b/c of
The thing that you need to do is simply edit your videos. Make a video, and talk fast during your video. If you screw up with what you are saying, pause, and then say it again.
When you are done, go back and delete out the mistakes.
The content of the video that you just made could have been put across in about 3 minutes.
I'm sure you mean well with your advice but I have tried that and have found it to be extremely frustrating simply because when I try to speed up the number of mistakes increase and I just lose my train of thought. These ebay videos aren't meant to be professional presentations. It's just me talking 'off the cuff' about my thoughts on ebay.
I like your video but I have to be honest, I was stuggling to keep watching because you are talking way to slow. I have great success selling on Ebay. I use it as a marketing tool which results in selling my paintings at regular price.
I'm aware of the pace I talk at and unfortunately (for you) that's an issue I've come to terms with as one others need to deal with. I've tried to speed up my talking in a process that nearly stopped me making videos altogether. I sell all of my paintings through ebay. The point of this series was to try and dispel the myth that selling art through ebay is easy and that listing is a guaranteed sale at the price you want.
I enjoy your series on eBay. I was selling on eBay for quite a while, years. Recently I just got fed up with it and have stopped. Sometimes I would sell for a decent price but mostly, no. If you play with your prices, it doesn't take long to find out what people are willing to pay. I am working on my portfolio to send to galleries. Thanks for the video!
Glad to know you enjoyed these videos. It is a hard market to make good money from - something which I tried to highlight. Too many artists go into ebay thinking it's easy money when it isn't. Best of luck with the galleries.
I also stoped selling there, maybe they will change thier policy back? But you have little protection now, and even paying featured they are favoring power sellers, meaning you will not get equal exposer for paying just as much. If you are not featured you will get very little to nothing for anykind of work. I sell for much more out of shows. Pay attention to the accounting, you will find ebay is making money, after fees, you sold for a lot less then you think. Shows are better.
I agree shows can be better if you know what you're doing but they require a lot more preparation. Ebay is easier in that respect. Ebay seems to be a good way to get people interested in your art by selling your cheaper works. The goal is to get those people onto your mailing list so you can promote your more expensive works that you might sell via your web site or elsewhere. I am aware of ebay's final value fees. You need to be otherwise they can be quite a shock. Thanks for watching :)
Thank you very helpfull I m a full time artist and i am represented at top galleries in USA and UK but sales are bad and us poor little artists must eat every week !!! I sell on ebay I never say my name I explain that the galleries would not like me selling on ebay. If i am happy with the person I sometimes sign it but i never say this on the listing and i certainly never do if the buyer asks and explains they want it signed as it will mayke it more valuable ( the bastards !!)
I'm glad you found my video useful. I can understand the need to sell though it sounds very risky to sell on ebay without your galleries knowledge. Do you create different work for ebay compared to your gallery exhibits?
Glad you found my videos useful. There will be more of these to come - just been traveling for the last month so haven't been able to make that many videos.
I keep expecting you to nod off! hahah

Don't worry about the rating - it's probably not going to make a big difference to anything. Just glad you found the video informative.
