Even against a "bad" blue water navy it would be like clubbing seals. The only thing they have worthy of note are their 3 Submarines.

yeah that's not a torpedo, that "explosion" is from a deep sea release of methane gas and carbon dioxide. its what they believe to be the problem for the bermuda triangle and why so many airplanes crash. because methane is much more dense the altimeter(which tells you your altitude based on density of air) reads much higher than it actually is, so pilots reading their gauges go in to a nose dive and before they realize it, they crash.

You can tell because firstly it is clearly a Leander Class DE and because of the pennant number on the bow. BTW if that much methane was able to change the relative density around a altimeter's expanding diaphragm then even before it changes the readings you would be pretty aware (or unconscious from fumes).

im in the royal navy as a submariner engineer and this was showed to us in training.basically the torpedo doesnt strike the ship it directs itself under the centre of the ship a few feet below the hull then detonates, the detonation causes an enormous expansion of gases along with a shockwave, it literally lifts the destroyer out of the water. then with the weight of the ship it simply snaps in half. thus meaning the ship sinks very quickly in around 10 mins with no chance of saving it. FACT!
