I'm glad you are here to benefit from the advances in AIDS research. From a scientific standpoint, those were the dark days of AIDS and it truly is amazing you made it though the 80's. Now, from what I've read, treatments are getting better and better every day. I'm glad that I can honesty say that there is no reason you won't live a long life. Continue to educate and stay well:)

I work in Healthcare and have worked with AIDS patients. One in particular was homosexual, had sex with every guy imaginable, until he got sick. This was just 3-4 years ago.

People all over the country were popping up with it, and it became an epidemic for a while. No one know for sure how people were getting it. They knew a few things, but NOTHING like what we know now.
