Nice video! But: The left arm of the handler isn't moving, it looks unnatural. Is it a help for the dog? It changes when you go for the sit and down, why? The dog is nice and it seems that he likes the work. Can't you get him faster during retrieving work? How many points did he get?
The whole "moving arms" thing feels very unnatural, after 20+ years AKC obedience experience. The judge never mentioned it. Faster retrieve? Don't I wish...it will be something we work on FOREVER. He does like to work but doesn't like to bring things back, so he's fast out but not back. Neither of us were ready and we don't belong to a club, overall I was pretty satisfied....ended up with a generous 94.
