I dont know why you are all comparing KoTOR and TES/Skyrim. They are about as different from one another as RPGs can get. KoTOR is an amazing story driven experience, it has a tale like no other. To me, KoTOR is the game I've most connected with EVER. Skyrim, is an epic open world adventure. You are free to explore. Its a world full of beauty and mystery. The amount of lore in Skyrim is heavily dependent on how you play it. What do both have in common? AMAZING music by the genius Jeremy Soule.

That mysterious door in the Czerka Base on Telos? Cut for time. Apparently you were supposed to play all the stuff Kreia talks about at the end. There are restoration mods out there though, but none of them restore all of the lost content :(

@iamjason The Revan book had some good things that felt appropriate with the depth and theme of KOTOR, such as the discussion on why the Sith emperor's way of going about things was self-defeating. However, many of the major plot points in the book sucked ass. Not to mention how they fucked up in general with the very basis of the plot; in KOTOR 2, Kriea reveals revan and the exile did not go to fight a physical battle.

@iamjason I agree. But the book also had some good elements in it definitely. The character talk, the adventure, revan's flash-backs...the emperor's background... But overall it flopped. Not the ending I imagined for one of the greatest characters in the star wars universe.

I was amazed how much they focused on other characters like Lord Scourge for 70% of the book... AMAZING... What did they wanted to accomplish by neglecting Revan completely only they know.

Easy... because Revan's tale has not ended yet hence why the book was mostly exposition and setup for The Old Republic rather than the wrap-up we all wanted. Also Lord Scourge is going to be playing a very key role in TOR hence the big focus on him. It's a pity but hopefully Bioware will give Revan a proper send-off.

Its in the recently released 'Revan' novel by Drew Karpashyn. I have the novel and have read it. That is the ending. Also, it was a dead giveaway - if you watched the Taral V walkthrough video that Bioware released earlier this year The novel all but confirmed who that Jedi Prisoner was.

@TheArnold46 Nah man, I didn't run any tricks. I have the game via ISOs and run it. It works brilliant. It crashes occasionally, but it's an older game running on hardware it wasn't optimized on, it's gonna crash. Then again, I can go without crashing the game for like 5 hours. Soooooo, I mean it's pretty infrequent. I'm on Manaan, and after you get through the Endar Spire (which, for me, was the place where the game crashed the most, that and character creation) it worked really well.

They could probably make a movie or two based on this game. While it is mostly up to the player on how to play, there IS a linear unfolding of events in the story with key plot points. Doesn't matter which order the planets are in either, as long as Tatooine was first and Korriban last. As to whether Revan would be male/female or good/evil, I think in Star Wars canon Revan was a lightside male. At least I'd watch a movie based on this game anyway. Who to cast as Bastilla though. Any suggestions?
