man, i haven't heard a delecluse etude played musically before hearing this. it's really difficult to shape the sound on a snare drum, but you really made sound choices. super burning.
but good contrast, i like the fact that your not afraid to play loud. just because its not marked ffff dosent mean its not loud in places, dynamics are relative. nice job man.
Your tempo is a few clicks under, and you play a litte heavy for Delecluse. Also watch your ruffs, they tend to be incorrect and inconsistant throughout. But well played.
Oh cool, thanks. I don't think my chops were good enough to take it at speed, but I tried. I'm still working on being elegant, I am aware that I'm still rough. Thanks for watching.
try doubling the 32nd notes in the begining.... i was playing them as singles for a while then i met greg zuber at a summer workshop and he plays them as doubles... it took me a while to get it but now it works really well. fantastic job none the less
is this a firtslevel studie?? o it´s advanced?

Yeah it seems every drummer thinks they're Jeff Queen.

maybe a bit softer man? the beginning should be like capriccio espagnol man, plus a little faster. Where did you study??
Drummerboy139703 4 years ago
Perhaps. Maybe next time I give it a run I'll try a little bit of all the comments. I studied at California State University, San Bernardino.
