  • is this a firtslevel studie?? o it´s advanced?

  • It's advanced. It is asked at some auditions.

  • ooo.. whos this cutie? ;]

  • Excellent. Your rolls are superb!

  • Thank you very much!

  • Super god! Have you a place to find it?

  • man, i haven't heard a delecluse etude played musically before hearing this. it's really difficult to shape the sound on a snare drum, but you really made sound choices. super burning.

  • Thanks a lot man! Thanks for watching!!!

  • that was really nice brother!

  • Muchísimas gracias! :)

  • this is so great

  • sounds great man. it takes a lot of balls to put this up. i hope i never have to meet the majority of people that put comments on this page.

  • Thanks a lot for watching :)... as for the other folks, well... people will be people.

  • Yeah it seems every drummer thinks they're Jeff Queen.

  • maybe a bit softer man? the beginning should be like capriccio espagnol man, plus a little faster. Where did you study??

  • Perhaps. Maybe next time I give it a run I'll try a little bit of all the comments. I studied at California State University, San Bernardino.

  • but good contrast, i like the fact that your not afraid to play loud. just because its not marked ffff dosent mean its not loud in places, dynamics are relative. nice job man.

  • what type of snare is it?

  • It is a Pearl Symphonic.

  • Your tempo is a few clicks under, and you play a litte heavy for Delecluse. Also watch your ruffs, they tend to be incorrect and inconsistant throughout. But well played.

  • what do you mean by incorrect exactly?

  • thanks for posting it it's one ot the most difficult studies he wrote with test claire, asked in many auditions

  • having worked with delé, i can tell you he wants the tempis to be respected and to play always very elegantely even in the ff

  • Oh cool, thanks. I don't think my chops were good enough to take it at speed, but I tried. I'm still working on being elegant, I am aware that I'm still rough. Thanks for watching.

  • try doubling the 32nd notes in the begining.... i was playing them as singles for a while then i met greg zuber at a summer workshop and he plays them as doubles... it took me a while to get it but now it works really well. fantastic job none the less

  • Thank you very much. Thanks for watching. I'll check that out :)

  • well played. watch those ruffs.

  • Thanks!
