I just purchased and installed this from steam, but whenever I start it up it shows a bunch of gray and white boxes... can any1 help me?

i have sound problems and i can't play it properly...for example i got shot from the enemies and i didn't even hear the shots coming to me.this sucks.if there is anybody who has the same problem tell me what to do...

to change the language in english do this:

Go to x:\Dark Sector\Configs\ and open DS.cfg and change App.Language=ru

to App.Language=en

Actually, the game's audio can be changed to English, "DS.cfg".

Absolutely loved it on 360 too. No idea why the gaming news said the PC version was going to be cancelled.
