  • It's actually very good...

  • THIS IS A SONG THAT IF IT IS TIME TO DIE; YOU'LL WELCOME IT WITH A SMILE AND REALIZE THAT, THERE IS STILL HOPE FOR THIS WORLD OF OURS.

  • The man, voice and music make this song so beautiful.

  • I love Bingham he is the beautiful side to America his music oozes that romantic notion that I like to imagine Americana to be.

  • @Chico1584 not american baby..in whole fucking world..I am from east and I love ryan bringham

  • im not a country man but this is a very special song!

  • What an amazing voice!

  • wonderfull! dangeorous for me because now i have halheart

  • COUNTRY SUCKS. with an exception to this awesome song.

  • @reservoirdogs34

Country is one of the best genres. Towns Van Zandt, Bobbie Gentry and many others are very talented.

  • I was raised on country music and I'll admit todays country sucks. 80's and 90's country was just awesome! But this song is my favorite song of all time, it is just amazing

  • This song is just so incredible. You have to be on something to come with a song like this. Too deep. Without even listening to the words the melody reaches deep inside me. I feel like laughing, crying. it's just incredible

  • His voice just made me pregnant.

  • fantastic! barely a song that can moved you deep down in your soul.

  • Love this song ! love ryan and his awesome voice !!!!!!!

  • so Do not waste time, come to my room I'm all burning

  • One of the best songs ever written. Yes.

  • Bingham is the king

  • his voice brings the song to life and hes cute lol!!!

  • i really love country music....the best!!!!!!!!

  • Watched the movie last night on DVD. Hadn't seen it before but I like Jeff Bridges. I didn't know he could sing so well, or Colin Farrell for that matter. Either of them could have been country singers in real life. The music was great. I'm gonna buy the soundtrack. Yes, country music can be beautiful, just listen to 'I am a Town' by Mary Chapin Carpenter. It can also be rockin' good, listen to 'Oklahoma Borderline' by Vince Gill. Great stuff.

  • lool i can bend to your needs, just talk to me and tell me what you want

  • good

  • Lyrics here -> /watch?v=qRzHVVdK_Oc

  • i gotta crazy heart

  • I loved every second of it. Just beautiful. Thank you for posting :)

  • The VERY FIRST words are "What's shakin', everybody?"

  • ...great song...Im not a fan of country music...but his voice is beautiful....

  • Ryan Bingham is the shit, saw him in knoxville last year. Been a fan ever since. Definantly my favorite country artist. whats sad is his music is not recognized like it should be.

  • Nice movie, nice song.

What is he saying at the beginning? I can't understand

  • To me what makes great music is tone, melody, and the ability for the song to capture a certain mood the listener wants to be in or is already in. This song not only has all these but each of these mesh together to make a piece that will last forever.

  • Damn that voice.

  • im 21 years old one of the "cool" kids if i would tell any friend about this movie they would laugh for sure they dont understand my definition of a good movie they just wanna see how people die or as much action as u can get. But when i bought the movie i just bought it of the academy award winner jeff bridges i saw him only in True Grit he was awesome in this movie . Yeah sounds really silly to u that i buy sometimes movies just by academy awards and nominees but the movie got me and thissong

  • @yongdilee you say your friends are just the classic "cool kids" who like action movies, but maybe their saying the same thing about you and their other friends because sometimes its just an act you put out. who knows maybe they like this movie just as much as you do. in the end were cool for our own unique qualities and the "cool kids" like us because we dont give a shit what anyone thinks and we be who we want to be and do what we want to do!

  • Movie itself was good. This song however.. Is amazing! If this is what country music is then call me a fan. :)

  • I don't even listen to country music. I actually hate it. But this is amazing. This guy writes the best songs, and he has seemed to change my mind, and my pre-conceptions about what country is all about. I believe in twenty or thirty years, he will have earned his place among country superstars. Johnny Cash would have loved this guy. Legit music, much respect Ryan.

  • whats shackin everybody...lol

  • Absolutely beatufiul! It's not very often you hear really good, genuine music these days.

  • l love this song

  • how can i get colins song of this?

  • He wrote it with T-bone burnett, read binghams bio you will find out how tough hes had it

  • @BobDoleNSatanRmyniGz Seriously? You're shocked that this quality of music was produced by someone you perceive as a 'prettyboy pussy'? What do looks have to do with music?

  • Does anybody know what variations on the A chord he plays in the chorus?

    thanks in advance

  • Comment removed

  • How did such a prettyboy pussy write such an epic song?

  • @BobDoleNSatanRmyniGz Every single song this "prettyboy pussy" writes is "epic". Why don't you listen to his other songs before you start judging him. You'll realize that Ryan Bingham is "epic".

  • @BobDoleNSatanRmyniGz

He was a Bull Rider first puss..lol

  • @MsGunslinger53 stupid ain't tough.

  • @BobDoleNSatanRmyniGz Maybe you should do some research on this "pretty boys" life and you will see that he is no pussy. He spent his life working on ranches and rodeos sleeping in the back of a truck and had been on his own since he was a teenager. His songs are real and authentic, unlike most of these Nashville pussies who sing about a hard life but have never done a hard days work in their lives. He has more soul at his young age than many artists twice his age.

  • 53 people don't know that Ryan wrote the song.

  • I dont care what other people say about country music. People may say its gay, its for hicks, or etc. But in the end, its just music. Its no different from other music we all love. I think music is about expressing yourself in an artistic way. To show the world that eveyone has a voice. And its not about how a voice sounds. Its about what that voice has to say.

  • @bdalexander94 You are so right. I have musicians in my family, and there is no need to limit yourself to one style or type of music. Just because you like one speed metal song or one country song or one disco song. It's all good. It's music!

  • @bdalexander94 i think he's voice is beautiful. It makes me cry.

  • @bdalexander94 the country genre has produced some of the most beautiful music we have ever seen. and for that it has to be respected. this is one of those songs

  • @pinkypete1989 you're right on with that comment...well said

  • @bdalexander94 this song is a singer/songwriter song. there is some good country out there. there is also some terrible country that is marketing towards a certain demographic the same way rap is.

  • @bdalexander94 That is great. Please stick up for the country music. I am a die hard fan of this kind of music.

  • @bdalexander94 The only country I like is in Crazy Heart.

  • @c4r50n1 Hey, me too!

  • @bdalexander94 dude you are so insightful... not gay dude... dude country music... dude.. townes van zandt fool nuff said

  • @bdalexander94

    DAMN RIGHT....

  • @bdalexander94 I believe the 'Country Music' that people crap on is the Billy Ray Cyrus / Achy Breaky Heart type, not the Ryan Bingham type . . . in my book Bingham is very underrated

  • @bdalexander94 how the hell is country music gay and hick at the same time? i understand hick but gay??? first of all does it sound like it was sang by a diva with extreme vocal range... or does it sound like an autotuned pop dance dance song?

  • Pick up your crazy heart and move to Alaska ---- with a woman though ... : )

  • Love this!!

  • He sings amazingly! :)

  • I'm an todler, and yet I love this music. Most of my compatriots listen to shit, but I am much too mature for such artistic banality.

  • @stockpickeraem youll be alright in time mate .thats a guarantee, just gotta ride the storm for a while, all the best ...

  • @stockpickeraem Youtube ≠ Therapy. This song reminds me of the time I went skydiving with a Puma, but there's a time and a place to tell people about that shit and youtube aint it. good luck

  • I used to watch the crazy heart movie with a woman I loved very much and hearing this brings back many memories of our time together. It's funny that even then when we first started seeing each other and things were magical and wondrous, watching the movie and hearing this song spoke to something in my heart to get ready to feel exactly what this song conveys when our relationship did in fact end. Kathy you saved this weary kind....Thank you

  • I rolled tried to roll them sevens with my relationship but it never worked :( </3

  • Colin Farell version is better. This one losing in some part voice. Don't like it.

  • @Neutronek Colin is lipsyncing. Ryan is actually singing it.

  • well to help with the whole rolled your sevens deal lol, i think its more of a metaphore for his life, lk maybe gambling his life away with nothing to lose, having nowhere to go and just roaming place to place

  • This song is so good it made cum pour out of my eyes

  • THANKS:)

  • "You roll them sevens with nothing to lose". What does that mean?

  • @Electra72, I'm gona guess they were rolling dice, and sevens is the best number you can roll (i.e. wins the most money) for who ever rolled the dice. "You had nothing to lose" meant he hadn't bet any money on his roll.

So in keeping with the "life falling apart" mantra of the song, he rolls the best roll in the game, but he doesn't win anything because he had nothing to place a bet with...

    Hope that helps!

  • @bluevillain09 Wow, yeah that makes total sense. Good insight!

  • @Electra72 It's a reference to rolling dice/gambling.

  • i cant stop listening to this song. the lyrics are beautiful and i love his voice

  • mulo bella questa canzone.....

  • angelodelsenno that is great, keep on keeping on...........great song, and I just got done watching the movie. Been divorced before not easy.

  • he is in my top 5 of fav. musicians now... he's a old school breed of music in this modern industry

  • such a beautiful song.

  • A truely Great Song...great job

  • THIS SONG IS PERFECT I LISTEN TO IT EVERY DAY.... AND IT SAYS A LOT :DDDDDD

  • 49 People aren´t Crazy Hearts.

  • Ryan Bingham sounds alot like TOM WAITS. For me there is no higher praise for Ryan. Many of his lyrics are similar as well. Ryan, do you write your own? Except for T-Bone, of course. You are unique,so country and so married. Young also. Best of it all as you move forward

  • I could listen to this song til I'm 6 feet under and never tire of it.

  • Comment removed

  • @angelodelsenno Cool story bro

  • @mape09ak a True and respectful story , if I may correct you :)

  • @angelodelsenno One day at a time my friend.

  • @angelodelsenno Great story. Respect, man.

  • @angelodelsenno That sounds a little gay,but I'm glad you're bak on your feet.

  • @angelodelsenno bless you man

  • I've heard this song for the first time in June last year, after I've watched the movie...and it will always remind me of a wonderful night...and of a sad goodbye...but i would have loved the song no matter what it would have reminded me of...

  • Heard this on the radio this week...... great 'feel' to the song:) x

  • What I think is amazing is that the soundtrack from one movie, Crazy Heart, lists four or five (or more) songs that are great country and rock songs--Weary Kind, Hold On You, Fallin and Flyin, Brand New Angel,I Dont Know-- compared to the onslaught of poppy, crossover, overdone crap churned out by Nashville. I'm not talking about the 'old' guys, Travit Tritt, B&D, etc--but all the country/pop garbage peddled on CMT, and I can't find five songs in the past three years that I care to hear.

  • I just said a prayer for your son

  • @bladeblunder....

sorry... i didn´t know him last year... heard "weary kind" few month ago on TV - it was a german "TATORT"... it is a little bit like Dylan would still be on the Rolling Thunder Tour. But nevertheless next time, RB is in Germany, I will go. And to BD as well. Best wishes from Munich (I am from Osnabrück, you know?) Chris

  • it appears that some of you don't know . . . Ryan Bingham wrote The Weary Kind.

  • Saw him in Munich some days ago - I won the tickets and did not want to go - but I went and I had ... one of the best concerts ever! ( I am 55) Thx, Ryan an 59to1 in Munich for making this possible!

  • @XeroPotiri

I'm 59 (!) and I went last year from Hannover to Berlin in November to see him. Now - on my 60th birthday I'll go to Hamburg to meet him again... What "Crazy Hearts" we have ... ;-))

  • If this Ryan guy did not write this song, who did?

  • I cried when I watched the movie then looked the song up on u tube and still cry when I hear it. Whoever wrote this song has put into words what it feels like to truly have your heart broken. Being that deep down, is no place for the weary kind. Having someone close their eyes and make a leap just for you then you mess it up. No one to blame but you. That's sad. Been there. Am there........

  • work the road and you can feel the desperation my opinion is omg that song says it all hat is off to ryan they made a movie bout it. for us who do this :) thanks bro. it's tough no trust watch your back kinda life. music that's what it's all about. did 5 sets last gig owner kept on with the money sing for 5 hours you may get a glimpse. what a beautiful song

  • I really really love his voice. I guess I like raspy, specially raspy thats saying

this aint no place for the weary kind

  • I dont like his voice.... at all

  • @FireForHighr

    how?

  • @satchboogie11 Its to raspy and it sound like he profusely smokes. I like the version in the movie better

  • @FireForHighr You are too critical.

  • @seetherlee i guess so

  • The movie was soo good.

This song is "fill out the rest"

  • that what i call real country song

  • God you can just taste the wiskey and smell the sweet stench of cigarettes when you hear this song so much pain and regret, this is a real song of the Workin Man

  • These days idiots think Kid Rock is country.

  • It wasn't either Jeff or Ryan. It was a REAL WEARY KIND. Ryan does do a good job robbing the ghost writer's time to walk down that isle. I love the way he tries to explain in some interviews just how those words came in to his mind.

  • I love this song <3 It helps on those days where I feel hopeless

  • Go sit on a pinecone pacisablo

  • It's one of those songs that's sad to relate to, but you can.

  • i know one thing , we dam sure don't need ANOTHER springsteen.

  • @pacisablo umm i dont want another springsteen although i can see where you see the comparison as this is exactly his kind of acoustic style and writing. regardless, this is an amazing song.

  • Wow, this is just.... epic!

  • immer wieder Gänsehaut!!

  • awesome! he has that voice of the whiskey drinking and marlboro smoking outlaws. like waylan or johnny!

  • Ryan. You're lyrics make mr proud to be alive. Best combo of humility and realness since Lynard Skynard.

  • to each there own

  • bad blake would be proud!

  • Magnifique chanson que l'on aimerait entendre plus souvent !!

  • sounds like bruce springstein . BARF

  • @pacisablo may be but this one is better :p

  • @pacisablo Are you being genuine? Bruce Springsteen is incredible.

  • @pacisablo get the hell out, if you dont like a legend like springstein and a song like this theres something wrong with you

  • He kinda fucked up in two places. He accidentally got confused and sang the second verse twice instead of going on to the third one, and there was a slight chord change mistake. This song is fuckin' brilliant and it's nice to see he messes up like we all do, oh god I can't tell how many times I confused myself playing a song. He's my favorite Texas performe, all of his songs have a brilliant feel.

  • So indescribable beautiful!

  • Apparently 45 people can suck it!!

  • Best song/performance since George Jones' "He stopped loving her today"

  • esta cancion es muy bonita y la peli tambien

  • This is such a beautiful song.

  • Kris, Townes and Guy are proud. Cheers!

  • If you like singer songwriters artists such as Ryan Adams, Gram Parsons, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Van Morrison, Townes Van Zantes, Ryan Bingham,A.A. Bondy, Beachwood Sparks Stop by and here the latest recordings form "Skyline Drive" An Americana singer songwriter projected based out of Topanga Canyon. It is fronted by new comer Derek Thomas and features former Ryan Adams side man Erik Kristiansen on pedal steel.

  • THIS MAN WILL SAVE COUNTRY MUSIC

  • @polishpio0neer1 Sorry, country music is alive and well, just not on the radio or american idol most of the pop country is a disgrace to music in general

  • @bhdwade Your right, Do you listen to any Hayes Carll? if not you should look him up

  • there are way to many broken hearts out there .... ya'll stand strong now ...

  • I have just seen crazy heart and heard this song, since then it has become one of my favourite 10 songs ever.

  • listening to this i was like WoW!! love it instantly!!

his voice is fantastic and the melody was just simply great!
