3:45 This is the way you go to the hospital! :L:L But yeah I loved the book it's uplifting and kind of shows you that you should just live life. I loved the last page where it was like "Live live live live." =] Great review. =]
this book is one my favorite but te only thing i dont like about my copy cause i accidently ripped it and i was very mad and would you kindly switch me copies thank you
I wanted to point this out the first time I watched the video, then forgot. Your twin is not Emma Roberts. It's Andie MacDowell. Hope you see what I mean :)
I just read this book earlier this year (though I picked it up in NYC in May 2010) -it was a very cool mental health-type book and I was sad that it took me so long to read it. Should I check out the movie?
I kept thinking while I was watching this video that you look just like Emma Roberts. I was going to say that in this comment, then you said you were going to buy the book with the cover of Emma Roberts because you look so much like her. I like predicted you were going to say that and didn't even know it until you said it... weird. Haha! xD
I loved this book. Also, I finally got to read Anna and The French Kiss a couple weeks ago. I was hesitant bc the title sounds so girly but it was an amazing book!! It wasn't too sappy or girly. It was just great! I don't want to get into a new series now bc I don't have time to read with my work schedule, but do you have any recommendations for a good newer book? Thanks for your awesome videos!
What I loved most about this book is that Ned was telling his true story in a fictional way, Ned now spends a lot of his time giving talks at schools around the country about suicide prevention.
I started this book once but then life got in the way and I never ended up finishing it, hearing this review of it makes me want to pick it back up... well there is that long plane ride...
i watched the film before i read the book, and i found myself really disliking craig in the book. his character was more tolerable in the film, but i think the writing style became irksome after a while. both the film and the book were likable in certain ways, though! i'm definitely more of a film person, so i may be a bit biased toward the film adaptation :P
@ohceecee I would guess that the book isn't as... dynamic? as the film. It's the same way with Hitchhiker's Guide. The writing is a bit more laid back.
I really enjoyed this book, although I got kind of sick of his writing style after a while. I don't know why, but I did. I also enjoyed the movie but I felt it could have been a lot better. And and and I love the book cover and you're awesome and okay bye!!
I was in charge of our YA Book Club at Borders and this was one of the books I selected to discuss. I absolutely loved it! Still haven't watched the movie. But that's okay because I love the book so much. =)
I read this book right around the same time you were reading it, which I thought was neat. I loved the book, but I haven't seen the movie yet and I'm eager to compare the two.
This sounds really great! I think this is something I would really enjoy. You don't see too many self-discovery type books centered around male characters.
Oh yeah, and you're very pretty, I meant to post that before but I forgot because I'm ditzy like that xP
It's definitely a tough experience going to a psychiatric hospital and getting through it. I've been in one myself. Psychological issues have too much stigma around them; people tend to assume you're just acting certain ways for attention. It's good to hear there's a book that in a way is positive about it. =D

Living in NYC, it's not that strange to live super close to a hospital. I live about 6 blocks away from one.

@SoloStellatv oh okay! I live in such a rural place that it's sort of rare to live that close to a hospital.
