  • i cant resize my current partition how you fix that

  • @griekenlandisdebeste maybe you should try some other partition wizard. MiniTool data recovery software is a good choice for you. It is easy to use and it is efficient.. some of the editions are absolutely FREE!!!!!!!!

  • @griekenlandisdebeste never mind i found it already just reinstalled on new partition snow lepoard put all files on it then deleted other one and made it back to one partition

  • ugh do u just make a partition change it to NTFS and install windows?

  • my mac wont partition!! it just keeps loading then i get an error :(

  • @415smallville what error?

  • @MacGenieWebsite *crickets*

  • I was trying to partition and this error came out: Filesystem verification failed or repair failed. What can I do???

  • @wilsontoto do you have journalling enabled?

  • wen you partition your hard drive can you revert this? if is so how?

  • @MrPekosTech 1. open disk utility 2. unmount your partition 3.select your hard drive 4.go to the partition tab 5.select the partition you made 6.delete it with the little minus button 7. drag another partition so that it fills up the free space

  • @MacGenieWebsite ThankS!! :D

  • Partition failed with the error:

Could not modify partition map because filesystem verification failed

    :/

  • @hiphopbrokemyheart11 boot from your os x install disk , go to utilities, select your disk, verify, then repair disk then it should work

  • @MacGenieWebsite what if i don't have a disk?

  • Okay, after i create partition how do install XP onto it?

  • @MiniclipTV 1. insert your install disk 2. shut down 3. turn on again 4. when you hear the sound, hold the alt/option key 5. after a while, the disk should show up, select it and press enter 6. when you are installing select the partition you made 7 install normally

  • @MacGenieWebsite "1. insert your install disk 2. shut down." - Is that the Install disk for Windows, or OS X?

  • @zcz23 Its ok just insert the mac os x installation disk then restart When you hear the start up sound press and hold the option key then select the disk and wait till it starts then select the language and wait till the menu bar appears on the top of the screen then select disk utilities from utilities then select the partition where your mac os x is installed then click on the button "Verify Disk" And Wait if it tell that there's an error click on the "Repair Disk" and wait till it

  • @zcz23 Same fucking problem. All I know is that if you use your install disk you can fix the problem. But I don't have it anymore -.- So you should be able to fix the prob if you have the disk.

  • Will it work even if bootcamp gives the files cannot be moved error?

  • not sure

  • @MikesCHANNEL96 no, just tried it. didnt work. damn error

  • update : Windows 7 64 bit is not currently supported by apple for boot camp but you can go through and manually install the drivers which i will try to make a video about soon

  • i guess i thin

k os ex sounds better but tht's a good point

  • Is it just me or is it really annoying hearing people calling it OS "EX"? Do you call Rocky V "Rocky Vee" or "Rocky five"? Wasn't the OS before OS X called OS 9? So why call it OS EX?

  • Windows 7 64 bit is a little sketchy cuz bootcamp drivers don't support it. You'll hav to install the drivers manually

  • disk utility will not let you make a partition that is smaller than the space you have used so yeah it would work

  • yes but you will have less space on your macintosh hd

  • MacGenieWebsite, are you saying I can partition my main HD which data is on it and it will not be lost?

  • it should work if you use boot camp and get all the drivers and stuff

  • hey ,i have 2 partitions mac and windows xp

and i was wondering if i could make another partition

for windows 7 and would it work if i installed the drivers for it like sound graphics n stuff
