  • @Acumagnet It can be very successfull...I'm a stay at home mom-and this is all I do-plus I help my coaches be successful at this as well. If you are a product of the product OR an active work in progress-then it will come naturally. You have to really have the "passion" to help end the trend of obesity in America. If that sounds like you-let me know!

  • P90X workouts are great, Tony really emphasizes how important it is for you to go at your own pace and have correct form. I lack the self-discipline and stopped after about a week, but each workout had be sweating and feelin' good afterwards! Hoping to jump back on it... eventually... :P

  • ok people, sitting at your computer asking questions won't do you any good. "do you think i will loose weight, is the program hard, were you bored...". JUST STOP IT AND START WITH THE PROGRAM!!

  • @tiftu713 Well I lost 22 lbs from my first round of P90X, then did P90X+ (a more advanced version) for another 3 months-lost 10 more lbs from that. Then I did a couple rounds of Insanity, and lost another 12 lbs. I then did RevAbs and Brazil Butt lift and lost a couple more lbs. Now it's more for just maintenance :)

  • this is all the motivation that i need. i just started the P90X today and seeing that its worked for you by just doing the videos, drinking water(read another comment) and following the nutrition guide. i believe i can stick to it now. knowing this is the real deal.... thanks

  • @SmalevC1990 Accountability is key. I am currently a Beachbody Coach and that is what I do, I make sure all of my clients succeed by being your accountablity partner. All you have to do is make the purchase through my Beachbody website (in my channel description) and I am assigned your coach. I would LOVE to work with you. :)

  • @Lucy4everdarling Semper Fi to you! YES, give it time, you will be working on your form right until the very end! :) But it's all good, no one is perfect, and there is always room for improvement, which is a GOOD thing. Everyone has problems, I still do! You are always a work in progress-KEEP DOING THE YOGA. I know not alot of people "like" it, but it's so necessary to really ward off injuries, stay flexible, and just stay young. :) Keep bringing it! :)

  • I've started P90X and I'm on my 27th day without skipping a single workout. And I'll admit, there was a few times where I woke up (because I workout early in the mornings) with headaches, and just straight felt like not working out.

    But then I'd watch this video. . . And think to myself, "why give up?....Go get your weights".

    I started doing P90X but fell off after 6 weeks:( I am starting back again today. You got amazing results!! Did you follow the diet as well? I did the first time but I lost way too much weight. I looked sick!

    I plan on watching what I eat, but I wonder if I will get good results. Please advice.

  • @joy19si Hi Joy! I did follow the diet plan. Next time if you feel like you are losing too much weight, start adding in 300 cals a day for a week, and see how that effects you. Good luck!!!

  • @IluvJesus610 Thank you! I always lifted between 5lbs and 20 lbs depending on the exercise movement.

  • Great Job! Your abs and obliques look strong; very good looking core. And you're pushing 20 lbs on every weight exercise? Impressive!  Week 6 for me, and loving everyday. Even when I feel a day not quite as motivated, once I start, I'm 100% into it. Good testimonial and I agree that Tony pushes every exercise for the importance that it is. Even when he's doing punches and kicks, he's completely into it. Who could ask for a better trainer.

  • @kflores333 Goodluck with it, I started working out in March, started P90X in May, I've lost 65 pounds so far, down from 250 to 185, feel like a million bucks! It won't be easy, but you can do it, Tony is an animal, get ready to sweat.

    Like you, I've always been a bit of a gym rat, but I've never gotten into the type of phenomenal condition you see on these P90X testimonials. I'm headed into my third week of P90X and I've seen results in that time equal to about three MONTHS of what I normally get in gym. This stuff works!

    Did your husband stick with it? Where's his video???

  • isabelbean did you take vitamins while doing the p90x workout because i have a friend who did the system but she isnt as tone as you are. if so what kind of vitamins or supplements did you take

  • @jdprice455 Well every "body" is different and will respond differently to exercise. I took fish oil, a multivitamin, and protein shakes. As well as drinking a gallon of water a day, and keeping nutrition very clean. Usually the most visable results are a direct result to what you eat. :)

  • @jahsonzok1 A good quality multivitamin, fish oil, and a good protein shake to use post workout. That's all I use! :)

  • @Brunewicz you just have to remember the feeling you have right after a workout, plug that into your brain and REMEMBER IT. Whenever you feel like not working out or eating right, pull that feeling right out of your head, and tell yourself, it will be worth it. The hardest thing is just getting started. Tell yourself that after 5 minutes, you can stop if you want to. I gauauntee you won't though! :)

  • I have had 2 kids and have some loose skin. I am athletic and active but would I be able to get abs like yours after I have completed these programs? I was planning on having a tummy tuck after I have put in enough work to get my abs the way i want them.

  • @msjktaylor0207 no tummy tuck needed! :) You can do this. I had the worse abdominals EVER..saggy, stretchy..UGH! LOL P90X and Insanity WILL help with your tummy area absolutely.   • @neutral4 P90X is what gave me the above pictured results, bottom line. Now to furthur your results, variety is always fun, and Beachbody offers a multitude of options to keep on going! Or you can keep doing P90X and just keep upping the weights every time. :)

  • @2iton Yes, especially in the beginning, because I had no idea how to really eat healthy. It teaches you how to eat healthy for life, it's not like a restriction diet kind of thing. I was never hungry! :)

  • @cedriclovesaaron I followed the nutrition guide that comes with P90X. Basically 6 small meals a day-but super nutrtious and filling. For example-alot of my days started with 9 eggwhites, cup of fruit, and oatmeal. Simple-but super filling! :)

  • @karincollado oh YES! The program never has you working out the same muscles every day, so you are fine. When you work out-you are basically damaging muscle fibers (that's what causes soreness) and when they grow and repair (provided you are eating the right food w/enough protein) they become stronger. The soreness will never really go away on P90X, (and that 's a good thing!) but it gets more tolerable :)

  • wow you look great! i know p90x has good ab and arm workouts but, does p90x have good leg workouts? or do you kinda have to do extra running outside of the videos to burn alot of fat off your legs?

  • @mallratnumber1 P90X does have a KILLER leg workout with weights (or strength bands), and it also has Plyometrics (jump training) which is a killer overall cardio workout that is all leg strength. I didn't have to do any extra "anything" during my first round of P90X. :)

  • Nice 10 lbs a month! I am hoping to drop around 15 lbs during my 90 day routine...I am a vegetarian as well, so I am excited that you are too woo!! I am on week 1 hope to finish the whole 90 days :P

  • Hi Demi, I've seen you on the infomercial and I would like to say THANKS for the motivation! I'm currently on day 14 of P90X classic and I hope to get the results...for me eating clean is the issue. I eat well, but I don't always eat 5 to 6 times a day.   • You look like your 18. You look amazing! I was going to use the lean version but you said the classic gives you better results. Does that mean the lean version would be too easy?

  • @MsPinkgirl94 thanks! :) the lean version has more cardio, but the classic is the perfect mix of everything, right off the bat. I always recommend the classic version, it just gives the best results in everyone. :)

  • @karincollado nope, there is NO going back :). I still do P90X for weight days, and Insanity and Brazil Butt lift for Cardio and variety. There are so many programs that you can get discounted as a Beachbody coach, (25% off), so its really easy to give everything a try :). There is always something new coming out, but I still do P90X to keep my muscles growing, and I lift heavier weight when I get stronger :).

  • @TheKittycatgirl7 I followed the diet to an extent-i'm a vegetarian but I still eat fish, so I ate alot of grilled fish, beans, protein shakes, nuts and seeds to sub for the protein that came from meat.

  • well for them to be flat-I got those in 90 days of my first round of P90X. For me to get a "ripped" midsection, it took a little over a year. :)

  • I did classic, it was the version tony used on his test group, and it just gave the best results IMO. Can't go wrong with Classic! :)

  • So...What was harder - the Marine Corps or P90X?

  • well of course in the long run the Marine Corps was harder! LOL But as far as total body fitness-I had better results with P90X. The military focuses alot on running and pushups-which was great, I was in amazing shape then too. But now I have biceps and a strong stomach too, which is nice! :)

I was in for 4 years... 99-03. Get in REAL GOOD shape before going...and develop thick emotional skin! You'll do great!!

  • I have to agree with DB there. P90X and Beachbody programs are no joke folks! They changed my life as well! DB is not some paid professional -- she's just like all of us. She works hard, eats right and as you can see had some AMAZING results! I'm not going to lie -- she is a beast when it comes to workouts but boy has it paid off! Great work DB!
