We are pleased to announce that Proposal No. 40 at 43th ICSD Congress in Rome 2011 have been approved - 26-5! Many, many thanks for everyone who supported the Proposal No.40 and ICSD's members for their votes.

If ICSD allows the UK to send more than 1 team based on the 3 kingdoms; England and Wales, Scotland, and North Ireland, should Canada be allowed to send up to 13 teams (10 provinces and 3 territories), the USA up to 50 teams based on 50 states, etc?

@roverkid400 - thanks for asking, if we look at mainstream sports, yet England, Scotland and Wales are allowed to compete in FIFA World Cup. There is no such football team under "Great Britain". Plus World Deaf Golf Championships, under ICSD; has allowed 3 nations, citing that Golf is an individual sport, so no such rule applied. We are aiming to change WC11.3 under "Team Sport" to change this.
