Placido is a DREAM : he sings like if he was 30 ! His singing is PERFECT and I bet no one could be the same - Damato is a very promising Soprano , gifted and intlligent ! It was years I could'nt listen such a beautifull interpretation !!! Thanks Placido : BRAVISSIMO !!!!!!!

Domingo, para la edad que tiene en esta grabación, no est mal pero le falta voz La soprano no esta mal,con el tiempo lo hará mejor.Este dueto lo interpretaron el Gran Maestro Franco Corelli y Teresa Ziles Gara, en una gran Gala en el MET. en 1975, fué grandioso magnifico, sublime, al igual que los aplusos y vitores.Otra gran interpretación es la de J. Vickers y M. Freni. El mejor "Otello" en la historia de la opera es el Gran Ramón Vinay.chileno, madre chilena y padre francés.

Que valentíaa de P. Domingo ,cantar esta dificil aria y a su edad.,seguramnete de joven se debe haber escuchado mejor. él canto la opera completa La soprano buena voz pero me parece  poco dulce para una "Suave , enamorada y dulce" Desdemona". El mejor "Otello", en la historia operática, mundial, fué el tenor Ramón Vinay, chileno, luego M. Del Monaco, el gran F. Corelli canto esta aria en los escenarios, creo que otras, pero no la opera completa...pieri...

tutto quello que vuoi,pero Domingo canta da piu di 40 anni e ha cantanto assolutamente tutto....le corde vocali non sono di ferro

La Damato deve dimostrare ancora tutto e visto il camino che ha eletto non so dove arrivera......

Wow this is fabulous! Domingo sounds pretty good for his age! The soprano is really wonderful, but she would be better if she didn't make weird faces when she sings. I am sure she is nervous--singing this famous duet with Placido!

He seems to have retooled his voice, and is sounding quite good. He is covering much lower in his range, and sounding much more consitant than over the last couple years. He could keep going... wow

how wonderful. A.Damato has a nice voice, although she looks kind of nervous. Which is understandable, as I assume she's relatively inexperienced being in Operalia, and I'd be shitting by pants if I was up there with him.
