  • Why isn't Townshend featured in this video? He's the best performer in the room! Hardly even see him in the video...

  • Only wish it was longer.......by about ten minutes or so. : ) What a "batch" of musicians!! Led Zeppelin rhythm section....Dave Gilmour....Pete Townshend....on & on it goes. One of my favorites, for sure. Classic.

  • last year in band we played that song in class my gr 6 teacher is on here type in ray yule fly me to the moon

  • Back in the late 80's I learned this piece to play as our band was getting ready to break between sets. This piece is a lot of quite, simple and a lot of fun. Its been decades since I've played it with a group. I'll have to introduce it to my Praise Team, seeing as I play today to bring glory to God.

  • I'd love to see McCartney start a concert with this song. That would rock.

  • Bravo!!!

  • CHEVERE PAUL LO MAXIMO.

  • john was fat

  • @jokkergar John Lennon wasn't on it dumbass! Musicians who performed on this song (included: Denny Laine, Laurence Juber, David Gilmour, Hank Marvin, Pete Townshend (guitars), Steve Holley, John Bonham, Kenney Jones (drums), Paul McCartney (piano), John Paul Jones, Ronnie Lane, Bruce Thomas (bass), Gary Brooker, Linda McCartney, Tony Ashton (keyboards), Speedy Acquaye, Tony Carr, Ray Cooper, Morris Pert (percussion), Howie Casey, Tony Dorsey, Steve Howard, Thaddeus Richard (horns). .

  • I just wanna hug Bonzo........... and Paul!

  • If this song doesn't get you up I don't know what will. It's like a shot of liquor and a line of coke together. Bonzo's drums are like rolling thunder

  • people dont realise that this song is the perect rep' of all that is good about music.

  • I LOVE IT.

Paul's little dance x) love love love loooove <3

  • Dude we would be a great song for sports games to pump up the crowd. So underrated :(

  • @iSingTheChanges This* would be

  • Can't stop listenening to this little Gem. My God, just on personel alone, along side the fact of getting a glimpse of history from the inside of Abby Road. What's not to like?... Well, could've been 10 min. longer I guess.

  • can anyone please tell us all... what they are screaming???

  • @dylanmartin I think it sounds like "With a bird in the hand, 'Any dinner?'" On some web site I read "With a bird in the hand they ask, 'Why no dinner?'" which might help to understand the, er, meaning a bit more. I guess? :D

  • @dylanmartin

The lyric is simply, "I have not had any dinner"; with Paul adding, "no, no, no" at the end of it.

This is one of McCartney's greatest rockers. Another masterpiece from the master. Anyone who thinks McCartney doesn't rock should be required to listen to "Rockestra Theme" and watch this video.

  • @aBeatleFan4ever I find it bland

  • @acoronab that's cause you diaper is dirty

  • Critics of the Rolling Stone wrote that this album was crap when it came out and was a McCartney flop... oh yeah it only went platinum... fuck critics don't understand shit!

McCartney,Bonham,Townsend, Gilmore are awesome on this one !

  • Doesn't surprise me in the LEAST he could do this. Remember he wrote Liverpool Oratorio, having NO EXPERIENCE at classical. I saw that opening night at Carnegie Hall and it was BRILLIANT. He's EFFIN AMAZING. There's NOTHING he cannot do. But Lennonites continue to downplay him and I don't know why.

  • 0:04 I swear I thought that was Peter Sellers for a second. =P

  • Best count-in ever.

  • Man, for a second I thought the gut at :05 was John.... looks like him.

  • why are their three drummers? John Bonham has the skills and powers of 10

  • @DeanIgnacio infact there ar 12 drummers :) Bonham greatest of all times !

  • Marvelous!

  • I love Paul...

I didn't know he could actually direct an orchestra...

    I don't doubt that he can - he's so skilled I don't think there's anything musical he can't do - it's just I didn't imagine him doing it ... Cool!

    I'm crazy about him...

  • This song could be 20 minutes long and I'd jam out to it the whole time!!!!

  • @wellisaythat and even 20 hours!

  • Why is Bonzo playing those ugly ass North Drums that sounded like cardboard?

  • NANANNOW!

  • WOWWOWWOW!!!!

  • this is soooooo great! Love this energy

  • The most famous pair of glasses in British rock appear at 0.08 - he lives down here in Oz now.

  • LOVE IT TO BITS

    AND A HALF.

  • It's very strange to watch Paul in Abbey Road studio with OTHER people. But as always, this song is genius from a genius musician.

  • KEITH MOON , BRA1

  • This is one of my all-time favorite songs. I cannot explain why. It makes me so happy. :)

  • coool

  • When I first heard this whole "Rockestra" thing, I was just a kid, albeit a Wings fan, and was unimpressed - why are all these big names just playing the same thing? I didn't appreciate that at the time, if Paul McCartney asks if you would like to play on a track, irregardless of what he wants you to play, you say, "YES!"

  • who is guy in blue striped shirt playing lead guitar at 1:04 & again at 1:50? It sure isn't David Gilmore!~ Thanx!

  • I think that is Laurence Juber. He is so talented.

  • arrown through me is also a great song

  • Wings are AMAZING!!!<3
