@14333Ali No, it is "واناخترنك" in the Khalaf recitation. Remember, the Qur'an is an oral transmission. The written transmission only contained the Arabic skeleton, without any diacritical points. You will see such differences when you compare the masaahif of both the Khalaf and the ubiquitous Hafs.
By the way brother u reciting the Quran in a nice voice but one thing I notice was a al ayah u said it wrong واناخترتك and u recited واناخترنك so is wrong every one should listen to this ayah and check with the phrase hope u read my comment
@14333Ali In the Khalaf text, it is "وأنا اخترتك". By the way, this is not my recitation, but by Shaykh Mishaary bin Raasshid al-'Afaasy (شيخ مشاري بن راشد لعفاسي).
As I stated in the video description, the text I used is from the Hafs 'an 'Aasim recitation (the ubiquitous recitation), whereas the recitation is Khalaf 'an Hamzah.
Asalamualaikum, regarding the different ways in which the Quran is recited, the sheikh recited the Quran in a way in which i never heard before. I do not have knowledge of this way of recitation, but i will inshallah research, and can anyone give me a brief introduction to this way of recitation. Jazakallah.
As salamu alaykum, thank you for replying so quickly. I just wanted some documentation for that statement on Imam Malik, and any other evidence. I know someone that would really benefit from that, and I would like him to see it. Can I also get the name of your teacher and/or his isnaad?
Assalamu Alaykum I would really like the citations for the claim that the recitation of Nafi' and Abu Ja'far are the closest. Every single recitation was recited by the prophet or else we would not have it today.
@repentantmuslim As'salaam 'alaykum. I thought there was only on harf in existence today since ‘Uthmaan (rA) compiled the Qur’aan in only one harf - or was it complied in a way that the mus'haf would be inscripted to preserve all the ahruf? I've heard a beautiful recitation similar to this from a brother from South Africa - but I'm still curious as to how we know of the other ahruf. Shed some light, in shaa Allah?
@sandipaaaaaa brother, the quran was revealed in 7 different dialouge but all have the same meaning, just tone sounds different.... Do you really think shiekh mishary would recite the quran in a bad manner.
@sandipaaaaaa there are many different dialects that the qur'an was recited in by the companions of the prophet (pbuh) which were approved of by the messenger of Allah and have been authenticated.

This is of sheikh Meshary bin Rashed reading surat Taha bi riwayat Khalf by Hamza.
Just thought i'd clear that up as many people seem confused.
