My only problem with this game is that digimon require DNA digivolving to increase your level cap, I don't see why the couldn't have just have you degenerate your mons to increase it. Like they did in digimon world DS

Man, this game took me months to finally beat when I was younger. It's unreal how addictive this game becomes and how long it takes to make a powerful team. It's definitely one of the most challenging games out there which takes a lot of strategy, time, and determination to complete.

If only they would remake this for the PS3, or even PS2. Same game, better graphics, faster game play, fix the translation mistakes, and add all of the Digimon that have been created since. And the voice clips for the Digimon that were in the show. "Terra Force!" "River of POWER!"

And maybe they could remember to add Lucemon's Rookie form, no idea why they only use his Ultimate and Mega forms.

Gameplay is one of the worst I have ever seen. Even your movement is limited to moving on square shaped panels one by one.

The battle system is crap. You choose technique you want to use but your digimon knows only one so you always have to choose the same. Opponent knows only one also. Then you just hit each other until one side wins. Attacks also do always same damage on same opponent so you have to keep hitting same 22 points of damage over and over. Sounds funny?

Yes I have.. actually I have cleared this game. I finished the game even though I didn't like it. xD Digimon world 3 isn't that bad but I think Digimon world 1 is the best.

If you get stuck you usually have to talk to somebody in the Digital city or some other town. You can search for Digimon world 2 walkthrough from Youtube for some help. :)

I liked the game when i was a kid because it had Veemon in there and it introduced me to Veedramon who looks cool. But there were certain times when i hated the game because i felt like the game cheated. I got pissed when i got hit by a Return Bug and it returned my WarGreymon who was my strongest Digimon. But overall, it a decent game.

Lol, there's no way to get around this, but when you get a rookie digimon, you get a chance to nickname it, so if you know the next digivolution of the digimon, just nicknamed that.

Ex: Agumon > Greymon

When you get a fully born Agumon, just nickname it Greymon instead.

the DNA digivolving & the capturing of digimons are the elements that distinguish DW2 from the other DW games. Too bad a lot of people criticized it by saying : "its pace is too damn slow" or "the battle system is boring" :(
