You know the game actually starts getting better looking later in the campaign. Kind of weird if you ask me, but I can't complain I love this game. To bad they changed the Sword mechanics to what it is now.  The sword fights aren't that bad, but watching this they could have been better, and I think Ubisoft knew this. They just must have ran out of time to fix them being this game was a launch title.

I was a wii player, then I got a ps3 and love it. And all I can say about the wii is that this game is fkin awesome (coming from a ps3 player used to hd graphics and ps3 exclusives), I played some wii games, zelda, brawl, etc, but redsteel has got to be my favorite. Hell, I liked it better than redsteel 2. I think it's a very fun game and it's my favorite game on the wii.

the red steel 2 is crap compared to the first one, the second one has no story at all, it's just mindless slaughtering, but for red steel 1, you must kill a wanna be yakuza clan leader that has kidnapped your GF and killed her father(your employer) and you must restore peace back to the violence driven clan(btw the old yakuza clan is legit legel)

problems with trailer, cannot make a person move after shooting gun out of there hands, focus skill doesn't look like that, crosshairs are different, sword fight isn't like that at all, and after getting that far in the game, you should have 2 swords, the katana giri, and a tanto to parry and sometimes attack, but otherwise... DOWN WITH TOKAI!!!

Redsteel looks different then the second. And the story doesn't even tie to this one, I played the first, and its the best compared to what I seen with the second, looks wild west then more modern. Thats what I like about the first one, has a good story

This is an awesome game and has been underated. You can get this game from most places for under £10 and it lasts a good 8 hours.

people say there are glitches but i havent had any and ive completed it nearly 3 times.

The only advice i can say is dont buy this game if you have a shit tv because good games dont like shit tvs

Stupid trailer, made us think the game would be kick ass. In the end, you crearly see the trailer was all bullshit and the game's graphics are nowhere as great as in the trailer. I just hope the second will be better, because I think the concept was pretty good, the gaijin fighting alone in Japan with both Guns and Katana.
