  • Where did Muhammad seek refuge when he was cast out of the kaaba? If you get a chance, google "the message Quinn". There is an orthodox bishop who still has the 7th century parchment.(Cypress or Turkey) God reveals himself to many through different means. Men pervert that truth for their own use. ie Terry Jones,Osama Bin Ladin, etc I believe God's plan was to worship Him, Not his creation, and not to kill His creation.

  • before the crusades Muslims and Christians embraced one another as brothers. we need to get back to THAT.

  • @81deadgame I'm a Muslim, I agree with you man

  • @81deadgame Well to be honest we never have been peaceful to each other. When the Byzantine empire was falling it was falling to muslims and muslims annexed spain in 720.

  • @81deadgame But yes we should have peace

  • @81deadgame As an aspiring historian, I would like to say that we most certainly did not. In the fourth century, the Middle East, Africa, and Spain was all Catholic. In the ninth century, it was all Muslim. What happened in just a few hundred years? Muslims attacked in large numbers and took it all. The entire reason the Crusades happened was because Christians from that area asked the Pope to help because they didn't have the manpower to defend themselves.

  • @81deadgame This is not to say that they are evil. There are many nice Muslims that I would get along with and be inspired by, just as there are many Catholics that do not follow the teachings of the Church. In fact, Saint Francis of Assisi went to preach to the Muslims, and he became great friends with the Muslim King, and they made an agreement that would've ended the war and allowed Christian pilgrims into the Holy Land safely, that the Christian generals did not accept.

  • The Christian faith stands for truth because Jesus said that the truth will set you free. The truth is that everybody should be allowed to burn books or use them as toilet paper if he/she deems fit. Father Nathan should be protesting to protect Pastor Jones constituional and universal human right right to burn any book he likes rather than join muslims who protest against it. What's next? Blasphemy laws against anyone who "dares" criticize islam or the so called "prophet" muhammed a-la-saudi?

  • It is only a fucking book! Get over it. BTW, the religions can not reconcile---ever due to these book that call for the "death" of those that do not subscribe. So fuck you, fuck you stupid books and fuck your claim to self appointed respect----which is not due.

  • Love those that love you, but also those that don't! If you don't get the message you will never win the war against evil! Don't hush those that did get that message, like this man brave enough to speak out for peace! Well spoken Father Nathan!

  • Islam is a false religion that denies the devinity of Christ. Muslims have killed christians, destroyed churches and burned bibles and yet they freak out when their preceious koran is destroyed.

  • What an idiot, total disgrace!

  • Father read the Koran it instructs Islamists to murder Infedels and false convert them.

this is not a religion of peace, it is all in black and white

  • @MrDannysj1976 What will burning the koran do to benefit the world? It will ignite even more violence, as it has done when someone burned the koran not so long ago. Innocent people die when people attack islam. Churches were bombed and Christians murdered in iraq because of the illustration of mohammed for example. If you're a christian just concentrate on your religion and aim to bring others to it, not fighting against other religions.

  • @curlyhead94 Why shopuld I ignore the insanity of their beleifs. It's got to a point in some areas in the UK where women are threatening with murder if they do not cover their heads, Because Muslim men are offended, does this mean that these women should cover up be good Muslims women. Who's side our you on the threatened Muslim women or the aggressor. Or do you think I should just ignore this abuse and be a good Christian? Do you think Jesus would of ignored such abuse?

  • @mrdanengland I didn't even use the word 'ignore' so I don't know where you got the idea that your should ignore violence etc.

So how will burning the koran save these women?

Jesus taught to preach the gospel and to love god and his neighbors not to destroy the idol worshipers' idols.

I do not support Islam because it is killing my Coptic brothers and sisters in Egypt but I would not think of attacking or ridiculing their religion because that will only intensify their anger. If you are com

  • @mrdanengland Also if you complain about Islam why would give the only example of a victim of islam to be a muslim? What an insignificant argument.

  • How did it go, Father?

  • Koran burning has been happening for many years ,it only received media attention recently & picked -up by the far-left & the Muslims to silence the opposition to the ground zero mosque..We all agree that this pastor is a loon seeking his 15 minutes of fame with a cheap publicity stunt !

  • didnt he just say he wont do it?

  • @onvogmasaj I don't think Father Nathan got that news before uploading this video, unless I missed something. This is primarily a media created controversy, just like the 9/11 mosque. I think it's time to focus on more pressing issues, such as ending the war and getting our economy out of the sewer.

  • lol

  • so true. very well spoken
