Oh, I dunno. Jim had attended a gathering like this once already. Robin Hayter (Fritz in the series) came along too. We really enjoyed it and have kept in touch (I'm the fat balding nerd with the goggly eyes and rucksack). After this event, Jim attended a gathering of fans at Friday Street, Surrey, which was the location used in the first two episodes and enjoyed a guided tour of the place. Then, in 2009, we met again with Jim, Robin Hayter, Ceri Seel (Beanpole), and Richard Bates (the producer)
Great video for only the most extreme of Tripods enthusiasts, but I must admit, Jim Barnes looks rather bored with his company of lifeless nerdy fans encircling about him. Perhaps Jim's acting career has fallen apart and only now in this video does he realize this is all there is. Sad, really.
