Great hommage to Rolf (even if it was a p*ss take), but their actual song "Rolf" was better. In the same league as "Two Pints" and "I've got lots of famous people".
This was real "alt-ern-ativ-ism" and we had lots back then. Splodgenessabounds, Spizz (whatever)!!!! Toy Dolls, The Pogues, ...Cliff Richards!!!! But nowadays, all ya get is awe that Boom, boom, hip hop,x factor, ...cannae play a note, but make millions oot of the young anes!!!...oh and dont forget Cliff Richards!!!

Bloody Hell. That is just terrible. They've missed the whole point of the lyrics - they might have been singing any old crap. This is a tender song about two friends who find themselves on opposite sides during the American Civil War, but find their friendship overcomes their differences.
This singer just shouted the lyrics with no thought at all of what the words mean.
I think their best track was called, He was saying goodbye to his horse, which I think was on the B side of this when originally issued. Anyone got and want to post it. Cheers
When this first came out it had me on the floor and it's still funny today. When I think about it now, a song like Two Little Boys was almost asking to be demolished by the punks and nobody apart from the Pistols could have done it better. Is Max Splodge still around?
Purchased their cassette album in 1981. It was brilliant. Was stereo. Malcolm's Mum, What's that funny Smell, just to name but two or three. I wish I hadn't sold it to a second hand shop in 1986, along with many other cassettes and records, cos I was running low on funds. I would pay a King's ransome to re-acquire that Splodgeness tape. Well, it would have to be the actual one I owned. And, by King, I mean Paul King, singer out of King, who is now probably worth only 30 pence a year. Ahem. Oops.
Me and my mate, the last punx in Wales circa 1980, 13yrs old and dull as fuck went to the Splodge gig at the Woolwich Tramshed January 23rd and stayed at Max's flat for two days. The nite after the gig Captain Sensible picked us up and took us to the Mousehole studios where Podgy Mcmillan was recording.Imagine it,two 13yr olds drinking a party can of Harp and a bottle of vodka in the back of the Captains Cadillac for an all nite session in the studio. Fucking great.Viva la Splodgenessabounds

It's meant to be out of sync, they're taking the piss out of miming on TOTPs.
Hence 'There's something up with these boys, their movements appear uncoordinated to me.......'

It's bad that a band this good still supports other bands 30 years later, when they should be the praised and supported by others!
