i 1shot ko'd him 3 times (3 rounds each 1shot ko xD) with level 100 Warrior of Light :P (extremely hard training against my brother for level 100 Warrior of Light before i did campaign xD)
im now getting fed up with my inability to beat all parts of the chaos battle with my squall who is like 20 levels higher than chaos. I can do it with all the other characters, and he just wont die in round three.

My Squall was about level 75 when I first defeated Chaos. Though it still did take me a few attempts though. I was surprised how he was still able to beat me when he was level 50.
@Darkstar263 chaos is a bitch when playing as squall, squall takes to long to do a HP attack, but i finally killed him a couple days ago as squall, no moving onto zidane vs. chaos
I defeated him in 012 last night. I was surprised at how he was a few levels weaker than in the first game. In 012, he was about level 44. The characters I used were level 50 and above.
I mostly pwned him using Cecil and Paladin Force for the first two rounds. Cecil got defeated. All I needed to do then was land a few more hits with some other characters. Luckily in 012, they let you use a party of 5 against him. And he doesn't recover between each character battle.
@stuartpentney213 I actually managed to beat him as the Emperor, it required a lot of movement and planning, along with placing the traps OH just right, but I did it.
Think you should've looped Battle 3 one more time to build up the climax of the song better, but thank you for putting it together! This song is so addictive O.O

@Kayaraine Something you must understand about Final Boss Fight music. there much better when your first here them during the boss fight. Thats why i love this song cause when it fit very well when i heard it while fighting choas, and chaos's voice fits him well.
well i encountered an interesting glitch with this song. I was fighting the final choas battle with squall. Well it was the third battle and he wiped me last 1 hp out before the music officially started. When the screen went into the "white transition back to the selection mode" screen, it wouldn't load and it froze there until i had restarted the game
This song isn't on Napster and neither is it's counterpart, "Cosmos"! It sucks cuz I looked up "Your Favorite Enemies" and discovered that they are actually a pretty cool band ^_^ but Napster didn't have either song and Youtube wasn't working at the time

@project0omega Okay you are in the Confessions of the Creator story correct? If you are, find a teleport stone. Use it and go to the destination Cavern of Earth. Then go left all the way around the island until you find the Chasm in the Rotting Land gateway. Go into it and I believe an event will happen with the moogle talking. I don't remember how many floors there are but keep going until you see the moogle floating instead of a chaos icon.
@project0omega Talk to him and then you will be transported out. The moogle will follow you, and he will say the Teleport Stone's are working. So go back to the same stone you came from earlier. You will teleport to Crescent Lake and move north along the shore. Be careful because there are manikans all over there. Continue north until you find a gate that says Cornelia Plains. Go in...and you will see a gateway a bit far north to the right. Head over there and that will be Southern Lufenia Gate.
Well, with the way all these FF characters were done in Dissidia, it certainly paves way for more FF characters to appear in Kingdom Hearts, especially a new villain. I don't recall it saying anywhere that Sephiroth is the ONLY FF villain out there. He may be considered the coolest (not by me, however), but even the cool villains get boring if they're repeated enough times.
I think Chaos disliked this one because he was not given an Ex Mode and for not being playable. In Dissidia 012 he was so amazed about having an Ex Mode and being playable that he had to destroy everything, showing his awesomeness.
@xKeyblader78 he does have an ex mode and u can fight agaisnt him in the first one his ex mode is when he turns huge and smacks the living hell out of you before blowing you to hell o.o

@MrPoop9000 Your Favorite Enemies have themselves said that the lyrics don't have a specific connection to the game. It's up to the individual listeners to interpret the song's lyrics as they choose. The song is more complete, however, in The Messenger, as this song only has one half of The Messenger's lyrics, while Cosmos has the other half. Together, their lyrics are in The Messenger.
@sephygirlmaetus ....seems like 20 levels above isn't good enough, right(until you get used to it)?i was level 70 Zidane when i first tried to beat him(it took 3 tries). My personal opinion is that the first time you fight him it's like 10 levels below the level he is supposed to be, then the second time, the level he is supposed to be, then the third time......10+ levels above what it says he is..........maybe even 20, especially if it's the first time you fight him.
In my opinion, the Warrior of Light is the easiest character to use throughout the entire game. Hell, I managed to beat Chaos the first time using him at around level 65 although I felt that I might have been lucky
@OnionMan game is about protagonists vs antagonists of FF series and both cosmos and chaos are based common religion figures of good and evil so they devided characters for those good and evil ;]. In other games FF games that involves religion, nothing stands behind heroes and bad guys are using good to spreed evil. Not to mention Chaos is original final boss of first final fantasy game.
@ShadowriverUB I may be wrong, but i think some of us are looking too deeply into the game. Dissidia's storyline involves two gods fighting an endless war. Cosmos fights for peace and Chaos fights for despair. Each side summoned FF characters from each series to battle it out to decide the outcome.
@raintixon Yea it might look simple, but ideas not come from nothing, specially if you talking about FF game ;] There also note of "one can't leave without another" at the last stages :)

I used the ground version of Revolver Drive. If you're leveled up enough, you can take out most of his health if it hits him.
I'm near reaching him in 012, this time am going to try using some other characters against him.

@sephygirlmaetus ....seems like 20 levels above isn't good enough, right(until you get used to it)?i was level 70 Zidane when i first tried to beat him(it took 3 tries). My personal opinion is that the first time you fight him it's like 10 levels below the level he is supposed to be, then the second time, the level he is supposed to be, then the third time......10+ levels above what it says he is..........maybe even 20, especially if it's the first time you fight him.

the first time you fight choas he is at lvl 50 the 2nd time you fight him he is at lvl 100 man that was a tough fight

In my opinion, the Warrior of Light is the easiest character to use throughout the entire game. Hell, I managed to beat Chaos the first time using him at around level 65 although I felt that I might have been lucky

I don't see why its the villains serving Chaos and not Cosmos.
Look at every Final Fantasy game. The heroes were always trying to overthrow the local regime/religion. That makes them servants of Chaos, not Order.

@OnionMan game is about protagonists vs antagonists of FF series and both cosmos and chaos are based common religion figures of good and evil so they devided characters for those good and evil ;]. In other games FF games that involves religion, nothing stands behind heroes and bad guys are using good to spreed evil. Not to mention Chaos is original final boss of first final fantasy game.

@ShadowriverUB I may be wrong, but i think some of us are looking too deeply into the game. Dissidia's storyline involves two gods fighting an endless war. Cosmos fights for peace and Chaos fights for despair. Each side summoned FF characters from each series to battle it out to decide the outcome.
