I notice the word "enforced" has been used in comments here, that is a buzzword of a controlled robotic state where people act like programmed morons doing everything their masters demand of them. Compliance is another, and of course malta is not used to this mentality as a unique mediterannean island, it is the preserve of the european union including the u.k and the united states where if you sneeze in the wrong direction you can expect to get tasered in that free and democratic land.
Some really bizzare comments on here isn't there? and very little to do with buses i'd say? getting back to reality and away from who's father is having sex with? and other juvenile nonsense, this E.U and its carcinogenic tendencies will strip decent maltese people of their entire identity piece by piece without them even realising it until they look back over a set given period. I have to say tho that from my experience of travelling to malta regularly since 1984 and sometimes 3 times per year that it has become more like a police state now. I have noticed many freedoms disappear over the years and certainly more so since ascension. Sadly it is not on my list of destinations I long to visit anymore, which believe me, saddens me.
