I'm surprised that nobody has left a comment about these, Motown's greatest musicians, if you have seen the film "Standing In The Shadow Of Motown" you will know just how talented they were back in the 60's and onward, thanks Adymanifold for adding this, great :-) JOHN
@jzzlvrmee Yes, those were such good times, I miss those times a lot. The film of the Funk Brothers was interactive too! on DVD I just heard that a new CD of Motown from the Vaults No 4 is out, I,d recommend that. JOHN
@jzzlvrmee What could you say about the brilliant Funk Brothers, what talent they had!! The Isley Brothers too were at the top of my list I shall never forget them, they had some disagreements with Berry Gordy Jr in those days, but I'm sure they acknowledged that they were a success due to Motown. JOHN
@MotownMagic1959 Yes, they can at least acknowledge that Motown kept their career going until they were able to branch out with their own company in 1969.

@MotownMagic1959 I saw the film myself, and I play the soundtrack all of the time. Musicians are still gleaning from them, especially bass players!
