Very good realization, both in terms of the playing and the visual; I'd like to think Anton would have liked it too.

Interesting to note that one Heinrich Bruckner was involved in this production; a relative perhaps? (Probably not admittedly).

das wiener posaunenquartett wär amal super für den pausenfilm... vielleicht mit dem blechregister der philharmoniker, dann würds auch reinpassen! oder einfach die alte zusammensetzung, dann sind die philharmoniker auch vertreten!

It is Jonathan Sass. Born 1961 in New York. He is a member of the Vienna Art Orchestra.

This is extremely good playing all round. Unlike alot of arrangements of orchestral music for brass or wind groups, this group is able to keep to essence of the music entirely as if it could have been this way origionally.

i love bruckner's 4th symphony. especially the 1st movement where the horn is introducing the melody... it's got a great "mystic touch".

you can easily discriminate the "bruckner sound" from all other componists... he is the master of dynamics :)
