@HitMeQuick thats not how new species are formed, the attractive do not go on to a different species to the unattractive.

@scottymorrison666 Yes I am talking about that theory, but the idea of humans turning into slobs can't be accepted, since technology can simply just remove all of the stuff someone wouldn't want. unless you are as ignorant as a creationist then you really can't deny this.
The future of the human race is this: in 1000 years humans will become a lot more attractive , taller , more creative less hair around face ect due to sexual selection and in 250,000 years humans will unimaginably attractive and a sub species of dwarves will come up that are the opposite of attractive
Are the short people going to live under ground and eat the attractive people, and one thousand years. That's a rather short time line compared to a normal evolutionary scale.
That was just great. I love the end. It is really the attitude of humanity. Its like we've reached as good as its going to get, no need to challenge ourselves, no need to go further, evolve more. Become more intelligent.
If the universe was created out of "nothingness", then why is everything in order? If the Big Bang was set to "random" then why is there so much detail?
If we have one earth that rotates, a sun, a moon, four seasons, animal and humans that have emotions, a blue sky, and so forth, this is enough proof that God exists. There is NO way that all of this could of fallen into the correct place with just a random explosion.

K9pivot there is a simple answer to you question its the fact of need (this is only a quot i took out of my text book) every animal will slowly change in shape due to miner changes in the genetically passed on information in simpler if an animal stretches a muscle and uses it more it will be coded in the species to grow bigger within each generation such as the early giraffe it had a very short neck but due to the constant use of the neck muscle and widening of spine it grow longer in each gen.

But what upsets me more than anything, is that people are so uneducated, that half of these comments are still arguing against evolution. Open a book that is based on scientific evidence for once, instead of ancient and fictional myths! EVOLUTION IS REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah that's desperate. But looking from positive point of view, there are still some problems within the evolution theory. More criticism will push scientists to solve these problems and make the theory more perfect.
Strictly speaking, evolution is still a theory. But strictly speaking, the earth is round is still a theory. Some people still believe that the earth is plain or, weirdly, cubic. Even some scientists have different beliefs, but it doesn't affect their real business.

@NinjaChampionKO god likes making expierements thats why he made us by using evolution.the human brain is not how gods mind works.his ways are confusing to us.we call him also the creator and master of science
ya the earth is aabout 4.6 billion years old...i dont think humans were evolving before the earth was created....and this is a specific example why religious people can say the theory of evolution can be contradicted also.
but humans came to be by certain particles reacting to each other. So maybe they started to react before the Earth became a planet that can support life. Maybe 4.5 billion years ago is the number of years ago when Earth was first able to support life. But i highly doubt that im right =)
Cool, but the 350 billion year figure is older than the entire universe, which is 13.7 billion years old. Did you mean 350 million? That would be about right for where this video starts.
Agreed. Truth will always be truth. The overwhelming evidence for an Earth older than 6,000 years will always be there...no matter how much it is denied by the uneducated young-Earth drones.
What part of science isn't deception then? The part that allows us to launch satellites into space? Create vaccines? Warn people about impending volcanic eruptions or hurricanes? The physical concepts that created computing and the internet? Why is it the only time science isn't embraced is when it disagrees with someone's personal beliefs? Tell me...what parts of science are lies and how do you make that judgment? I bet you just pick and chose. That isn't very honest...seems almost deceptive?
Also, we're talking about the age of the Earth here...not evolution. Your comment was about the Earth being 6,000 years old, so I don't know why you jumped to evolution--that's a whole different issue.
No it isn't. Just as there is a whole network of evidence supporting an Earth older than 6,000 years, there is a whole network of evidence supporting evolution. Evolution is even witnessed in populations of microorganisms with rapid life cycles. Hello, H1N1? Why do you think new influenza vaccines and antibiotics constantly need to be made? Because new viruses and resistant strains of bacteria keep evolving. Evolution is VERY good science.
Wow, God is an extremely deceptive being if that's true. Give us curiosity and logic and provide us with a means to understand the world we live in and progress technologically...but then have it all be lies and deception? What's the point in that?
If you are going to fall back to your religious views when arguing about scientific principles, then don't make idiotic claims that evolution is bad science--because you have no clue what the difference between good science and bad science really is.
And which God might that be? Everybody has their own opinion when it comes to religion. Everyone seems to think those opinions are absolute. How arrogant you are to interpret a God for me and anyone else.
Sorry for being a "mad scientist" that likes to think things out for himself, for using reason and looking at evidence to support concepts I accept, for being interested in the natural world and for wanting to study it.
I like how you can't seem to respond to anything I say, except for spitting out meaningless and nonsensical statements about God with no relevant points to the conversation. It's really sad.
I wish I could blindly follow a religion and ignore reality, never question anything, nor think for myself. It takes a lot of energy to think. Must be nice. I hope you can maintain your delusion for as long as possible--it will keep you happy. Don't want to start rocking the boat at your age anyway.
Your implied premise seems to be that religion keeps you ignorant, when that is false. How many facts does it take to falsify a premise? One. I am a very religious man, and I view science as a very religious design.
There is nothing I am believing that contradicts reality. The big bang, evolution...all this I studied and accept without a problem. I understand all people have different points of view...
Religion doesn't ignore reality. It just looks at things differently.
I do not think that religion equates to ignorance, but it unfortunately can be used as a crutch for lazy thinking. There is a difference between having a religion and being blinded by religion (or anything for that matter) without taking the time to think about anything else (vrghicks). Sometimes this blindness can lead people to disregard things that are obviously true (e.g. the Earth is older than 6,000 years). Religion, like science, can be abused (e.g. the crusades and WMDs)...
Don't get me wrong, I understand there are a lot of religious people who believe in things that contradict reality...like creationism.
but is that a problem? Me, being a psychology major, I see it from that perspective...and it isn't a problem. People can believe in things that are false and live functional lives..
and that's all that matters...is living a happy functional life.
It becomes a problem when these people stand up on a soap box and inflict their confused reality on others. The Kansas board of education nearly teaching intelligent design as a science subject is a clear example of this. If people are happy and functional being delusional (in any context), then that's fine. When those delusions begin to influence social policies, however, it is clearly not fine.
ithaca1017: I was arguing the other day with my brother who believes in faith and and said "everyone has a destiny". I told him how does free will apply? Fate contradicts freewill.
I mostly agree with that, but there are times when the two terms might coincide without contradiction. For instance, we are mortal so it is our destiny to die. Regardless of this inevitable fate, we still have free will. In one sense, an individual's destiny may be considered the set of outcomes that occur regardless of the choices we make. However, one could argue then that death is our only destiny since, at any time, you could kill yourself to escape all other potential outcomes.
but that's what people say to make themselves feel better about this depraved reality...
so, what's wrong with that?
Personally, I see the concept of fate as ridiculous, but I would never take away that belief from people. I know that these things are precious shreds of hope for them.
This world is too ugly for ALL people to see it for what it really is.
Apparently we are still evolving, we're living longer and getting taller, well thats what my dad told me he'd heard on various documentaries but it makes sense!
We are still evolving genetically, but things like living longer and getting taller are more down to environmental factors - medical treatment, sanitation, better living and working conditions and so on. So it's not that we're born stronger, we're just born into a less damaging world.
In fact since the going is easier, there are less selection pressures acting on us, so even negative traits can develop and spread, e.g. hereditary diseases can be treated instead of killing the gene's carrier
evolution comes the minds of all, end pain eating your destroying universes meaning we wont be able get contact with the rest by you eating pain, try the fruit of knowledges
actually, humans did evolve, but not evolve from an ape to human. But rather, how we evolve to have people that are black or white, sharp or blunt noses. This are evolutions too. :)
Mathematic calculations about the expansion of the universe indictate it began forming roughly 13 billion years ago. Life has only existed (at best) 3 billion years, but probably more like 2.5. Human evolution didn't go exactly like this because it shows transitions from existing animals. The animals we came from looked similar to modern day animals but they were much different genetically and even in structure in some cases.
WOW!! Hammersley1967... what r u doin... im mean... using ur handicap like that is NOT cool. I hope u not lying n pretending u r n really ur NOT. U do no that the reason they have laws in place to assist the handicap is to make them EQUAL in regard to access to resources n shit. So sayin that someone cant pick on ur for that is WRONG buddy, u tellin ppl to feel sorry for u cause of that, but ur still STILL HUMAN therefore y feel sorry for u in that way... sigh...
@Hammersley1967, well British and Americans have different 'billions' in one country a billion is 1000 million and in the other it's a million million.
When we find a mutant in the higher level creatures, it is nearly always sterile. Furthermore, the offspring of cross specie types are always sterile (such as the mule, an offspring of a horse and donkey or the offspring of one type of dolphin mating with another type of dolphin.).
Again, how can possibly sterile creatures reproduce and continue the evolutionary process?
isnt it sad that for those people who do not have children, they destroyed 350 billion years worth of evolution by ending their bloodline....MATE LIKE ANIMALS PEOPLE!!!! DONT LET YOUR BLOOD LINE DIE OUT!!!
Francis Crick British molecular biologist, physicist, and neuroscientist, & noted for being one of the discoverers of the structure of the DNA molecule & Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine "
p. 88 An HONEST man, armed with all the knowledge available to us now, could only state that in some sense, the origin of life appears at the moment to be almost a MIRICALE, so many are the conditions which would have had to have been satisfied to get it going.

Some scientists think that in the medium term future the human race will split into two distinct categories:
1) tall, healthy and good looking.
2) runty, pint sized, and ugly.
The two will stop choosing to interbreed with each other and eventually be unable to interbreed - hence a new species will form.

Most noticeable evolution occurs over huge periods of time; animals die because they get old. Their offspring carry their parents' genes.
Do you agree that your DNA is a mixture of your mother's and father's?
I'll assume 'Yes' - in that case, do you accept that DNA can mutate between generations (eg. during meiosis)?

@NinjaChampionKO if god made everything that exists, and if something is real exists, if god's real, he must have made himself???

ya the earth is aabout 4.6 billion years old...i dont think humans were evolving before the earth was created....and this is a specific example why religious people can say the theory of evolution can be contradicted also.
twadski 2 years ago
true... good point.
but humans came to be by certain particles reacting to each other. So maybe they started to react before the Earth became a planet that can support life. Maybe 4.5 billion years ago is the number of years ago when Earth was first able to support life. But i highly doubt that im right =)
HippieLuvsTwilight 2 years ago
Cool, but the 350 billion year figure is older than the entire universe, which is 13.7 billion years old. Did you mean 350 million? That would be about right for where this video starts.
ChuckyJesus666 2 years ago
The earth is only around 6,000 years old at the most. The rest is mad science.
Smoke on that for awhile devil!
vrghiks 2 years ago
lmao!
ithaca1017 2 years ago
I'm glad you are amused, but truth will always be truth no matter who attacts it.
vrghiks 2 years ago
Agreed. Truth will always be truth. The overwhelming evidence for an Earth older than 6,000 years will always be there...no matter how much it is denied by the uneducated young-Earth drones.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
The devil decieved Eve with the first lie.The lie continues under the disguise of
evolution. The devil is still twisting the feeble minds of man with this preposterous lie.
vrghiks 2 years ago
What part of science isn't deception then? The part that allows us to launch satellites into space? Create vaccines? Warn people about impending volcanic eruptions or hurricanes? The physical concepts that created computing and the internet? Why is it the only time science isn't embraced is when it disagrees with someone's personal beliefs? Tell me...what parts of science are lies and how do you make that judgment? I bet you just pick and chose. That isn't very honest...seems almost deceptive?
ithaca1017 2 years ago
Also, we're talking about the age of the Earth here...not evolution. Your comment was about the Earth being 6,000 years old, so I don't know why you jumped to evolution--that's a whole different issue.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
Evolution is bad science!
vrghiks 2 years ago
No it isn't. Just as there is a whole network of evidence supporting an Earth older than 6,000 years, there is a whole network of evidence supporting evolution. Evolution is even witnessed in populations of microorganisms with rapid life cycles. Hello, H1N1? Why do you think new influenza vaccines and antibiotics constantly need to be made? Because new viruses and resistant strains of bacteria keep evolving. Evolution is VERY good science.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
Science finds only what God allows to be found.Man loves to glorify himself.Apart from God,man can do nothing!
vrghiks 2 years ago
Wow, God is an extremely deceptive being if that's true. Give us curiosity and logic and provide us with a means to understand the world we live in and progress technologically...but then have it all be lies and deception? What's the point in that?
If you are going to fall back to your religious views when arguing about scientific principles, then don't make idiotic claims that evolution is bad science--because you have no clue what the difference between good science and bad science really is.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
"Apart from God,man can do nothing!"
Then a direct implication is that man has no free will and God is responsible for mass murder, rape, and all evil. You sure you don't worship Satan?
ithaca1017 2 years ago
I guessed you wouldn't understand the spiritual meaning of what God said.
You may have to go back 350 billion years
with your mad scientist friends.
vrghiks 2 years ago
And which God might that be? Everybody has their own opinion when it comes to religion. Everyone seems to think those opinions are absolute. How arrogant you are to interpret a God for me and anyone else.
Sorry for being a "mad scientist" that likes to think things out for himself, for using reason and looking at evidence to support concepts I accept, for being interested in the natural world and for wanting to study it.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
Everyone has religion, but not everyone has a relationship with the one true God.The God of the bible.
Nothing wrong with studying about our
universe.God says to seek his kingdom first and all these things will be added unto you.
vrghiks 2 years ago
I like how you can't seem to respond to anything I say, except for spitting out meaningless and nonsensical statements about God with no relevant points to the conversation. It's really sad.
I wish I could blindly follow a religion and ignore reality, never question anything, nor think for myself. It takes a lot of energy to think. Must be nice. I hope you can maintain your delusion for as long as possible--it will keep you happy. Don't want to start rocking the boat at your age anyway.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
Your implied premise seems to be that religion keeps you ignorant, when that is false. How many facts does it take to falsify a premise? One. I am a very religious man, and I view science as a very religious design.
There is nothing I am believing that contradicts reality. The big bang, evolution...all this I studied and accept without a problem. I understand all people have different points of view...
Religion doesn't ignore reality. It just looks at things differently.
ncPsychosis 2 years ago
I do not think that religion equates to ignorance, but it unfortunately can be used as a crutch for lazy thinking. There is a difference between having a religion and being blinded by religion (or anything for that matter) without taking the time to think about anything else (vrghicks). Sometimes this blindness can lead people to disregard things that are obviously true (e.g. the Earth is older than 6,000 years). Religion, like science, can be abused (e.g. the crusades and WMDs)...
ithaca1017 2 years ago
...but neither are bad.
Kudos to you for balancing your religion with science. I never understood why so many people have problems doing this.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
Don't get me wrong, I understand there are a lot of religious people who believe in things that contradict reality...like creationism.
but is that a problem? Me, being a psychology major, I see it from that perspective...and it isn't a problem. People can believe in things that are false and live functional lives..
and that's all that matters...is living a happy functional life.
ncPsychosis 2 years ago
It becomes a problem when these people stand up on a soap box and inflict their confused reality on others. The Kansas board of education nearly teaching intelligent design as a science subject is a clear example of this. If people are happy and functional being delusional (in any context), then that's fine. When those delusions begin to influence social policies, however, it is clearly not fine.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
what the heck you talking about? i could freaking ..(not sure what the word is) you in a "word battle" of creationism vs. evolution and im only 12!!

ithaca1017: I was arguing the other day with my brother who believes in faith and and said "everyone has a destiny". I told him how does free will apply? Fate contradicts freewill.
MrPerseus2009 2 years ago
I mostly agree with that, but there are times when the two terms might coincide without contradiction. For instance, we are mortal so it is our destiny to die. Regardless of this inevitable fate, we still have free will. In one sense, an individual's destiny may be considered the set of outcomes that occur regardless of the choices we make. However, one could argue then that death is our only destiny since, at any time, you could kill yourself to escape all other potential outcomes.
ithaca1017 2 years ago
very true.
but that's what people say to make themselves feel better about this depraved reality...
so, what's wrong with that?
Personally, I see the concept of fate as ridiculous, but I would never take away that belief from people. I know that these things are precious shreds of hope for them.
This world is too ugly for ALL people to see it for what it really is.
ncPsychosis 2 years ago
Apparently we are still evolving, we're living longer and getting taller, well thats what my dad told me he'd heard on various documentaries but it makes sense!
GraceUnderPressure1 2 years ago
We are still evolving genetically, but things like living longer and getting taller are more down to environmental factors - medical treatment, sanitation, better living and working conditions and so on. So it's not that we're born stronger, we're just born into a less damaging world.
In fact since the going is easier, there are less selection pressures acting on us, so even negative traits can develop and spread, e.g. hereditary diseases can be treated instead of killing the gene's carrier
cactustactics 2 years ago
@GraceUnderPressure1 we are living longer becouse of recent medical advance.

BLUESERAPHproduction 2 years ago
actually, humans did evolve, but not evolve from an ape to human. But rather, how we evolve to have people that are black or white, sharp or blunt noses. This are evolutions too. :)
FunkyZangel 2 years ago
evolution happens in a very log time scale for a tiny change
a few 10000 years for each small and unnoticeable change
just like when you grow from kid to adult
if you look in the mirror every day you won't see a difference but you do change
each day is about 10000 years for evolution
we are still evolving
for example blue eyed people all have a common ancestor

Something to do with reversing the rate the universe expands
monkswood 2 years ago
Cosmic microwave background radiation.
Hjernespreng 2 years ago
Mathematic calculations about the expansion of the universe indictate it began forming roughly 13 billion years ago. Life has only existed (at best) 3 billion years, but probably more like 2.5. Human evolution didn't go exactly like this because it shows transitions from existing animals. The animals we came from looked similar to modern day animals but they were much different genetically and even in structure in some cases.

WOW!! Hammersley1967... what r u doin... im mean... using ur handicap like that is NOT cool. I hope u not lying n pretending u r n really ur NOT. So sayin that someone cant pick on ur for that is WRONG buddy, u tellin ppl to feel sorry for u cause of that, but ur still STILL HUMAN therefore y feel sorry for u in that way... sigh...
