Actually now that I think more about it your summary is not clear enough. I think you mean their are the gossipers, the obsesors, and the thinkers, maybe? According to the summary I would be a peasant because I like psychology, psychology is about people, but it's not just 'Betty is going out with Martin an they are like so ugly' or something it is more of an idea. Talking about things is pretty clear, of course things could easily be combined with ideas.

The association with social class is just a metaphor for the relative intelligence of the three idffert types. Obviously there would be rich aristocrats who gossiped and there would be poor people who are geniuses. But the metaphor is a nice way to "visualize" the relative distinction of the "type" of person you are. See?
